Isn't that basically the point though? Why make a permanent one-way transformation that isn't unequivocally worth it? Hell, with Eviolite around, a Pokemon that evolves without changing BST would almost be a detriment.

We already have systems for Pokemon that look different but exist with similar BSTs - branching evolution paths and form changes.
