Kinda lost interest after gen 2.
Like I was excited about new pokemon. But it kinda felt like they started limiting potential of Eggs and Pokemon after Gen2. All Ive found for several weeks now are the same 10 shitmon and all eggs hatch Staryu and Psyduck anymore.

In my area, it's mostly yellow. They have taken over a very popular area where there are 4 gyms within a block. Used to be all level 3 or below any color, but it now just stays 5-6 level yellow. Seems like most other teams have given up battling there since any of the gyms will immediately go back to yellow within a couple minutes. Anyways, curious what are yours?

As a former walkfag who now spoofs, I must admit I lost the joy of playing this game.

When walkfagging, I would get excited to hatch an egg, see a wild pokemon I've never seen before, get a good IV mon without a tracker, etc..

But now it just feels dull. Oh look, another 100% Eevee.

Thinking about either deleting my spoof mons or starting a new account, although it still won't feel the same.

Niantic is a small developer and they're working very hard on three big updates for this year. If we demand something every three weeks, there's no way that we'll be satisfied. Enjoy the game we have!

I've recently run into a few "spoofers" lately, I was always suspsicious of one in particular until i confirmed it today. i work EARLY in the morning and i was clearly the only one around and someone took 4 gyms back before i even left the area and then after taking the one i was currently at, they promptly took over one at the edge of my map. i reported them through the Niantic site but does it really even change anything? like will they do anything? this is my first time reporting someone and just wasn't sure if it was even worth my time.

I like your spirit, but it's all a facade. Dedicated spoofers will not let you have popular gyms. It's not a matter of determination, it's a matter of a legit player vs. a human assisted bot with 1000 item inventory and a lot of time on their hands, fighting is almost always futile even for me. I've just given up and I go out with my friends to build a gym up to 12,000. We only check gyms that have been torn down and we bring it back up.

There are plenty of rural areas or just very small cities that doesn't have stops, Niantic should start with that and instead of increasing the amount of stops on cities, increase the drop so that you don't have to go to a shitload of stops to get 10 pokeballs that you will burn in minutes. Yeah, I could play at home, in a dead zone. Travel about 3-4 miles to the closest Pokestop. (The second closest is 6 miles in the opposite direction.)

Or, I could spoof to the location I work about a half hour drive away. I "walk" up and down the street hitting plenty of stops. If I drove, it might not be an issue, but instead I would need to walk quite a distance daily just to play. It's easier to cheat, and limit myself to something I COULD do daily, rather than begging for rides just to play Pokemon.

TL;DR - Make it possible to play in shitty areas, and I don't think half as many people would bother cheating. I guarantee I'm not alone.

All areas have spawn points and 'rare' spawn points, whether it's a lot or a little. That'd be dumb, but an activity scanner would be cool. Like, if there was a lot of spawn points N, S, E, or W, a color would light up and you could go in that direction to find them.
