i have totally ditched television and haven't seen more than a few glances at the news.
As for pokemon, right now i'm playing both shuffle and duel in my cellphone, i got a 3ds just for pokemon moon, though i have played all of the other pokemon games, and right now i'm thinking about trying out pokemon rumble world.

Seconding this. Animal crossing and pokemon convinced me to get a 3ds, and man, I've sank so much free time into animal crossing alone. The new update is amazing and a perfect example of how to add content and increase playability without the need for paid DLC.

Pretty awful. I once spent 72 hours straight dicking around on my computer, pausing really only for bathroom breaks.

I can live without the internet for a decent amount of time. The only thing I really miss when it's gone is being able to watch youtube before I go to bed. If I'm able to do at least that, I could probably live without it. And I haven't played Pokemon sense Sun and Moon came out. So I'll let you answer that question yourself.

When I'm home I spend a lot of time on the computer/internet however I also enjoy camping for which I'm without internet for the duration so its not really an addiction.

Very unpolished compared to 4U. The weapon balance and playstyles are largely thrown out the window in favour of hunter styles, many of which are pointless or follow extremely repetitive playstyles. Monster roster is shit, all the new monsters are pretty cool but you'll spend most of the game fighting the worst of the gen 1/2 monsters instead. Hunter Arts are cool, but they're overly flashy and feel out of place. I wouldn't want to see them in another game.
