So I maxed out my Whimsicott and I have to say it's one of the best figures in the entire game. Especially against Reuniclus decks, where you purposely make it confused and it has a ridiculous 86 dodge+purple and no miss. It just doesn't die. AND it can pull off surrounds nobody else can.

Just waiting on the two rare CLv cubes from the gym so it can win mirror match ups. 10/10 figure would use in 2800+ if/when I get there.

Yes, it's great against them and it's 150 attack is good enough that 1mp isn't that big a deal. Just play with a goal block, be slightly aggressive with him to get off the point, and goal block if you get backed up. Even against non cancer decks it can be force with 150 attack.

Just flood the board ASAP and then start moving forward

You play round by:
>1. Running max revive, scoop up, hurdle jump and a plate of choice
>2. Get all your figures on the board ASAP
>3. Wigglytuff prevents opponent using playes so block their early runners with them (they can't jump)
>4. When you have all your figures on the board, start locking it down
>5. Swarm forward with Wigglytuff to restrict their board space
>6. Capture the opponent's entry points
>7. When both are captured, use Sylveon to kill things one by one

I've found some nice success with the Whimsicott 2x Vibrava Shuppet Kirlia Trapinch deck someone posted two threads ago and it's a super fun deck, abusing the hell out of Pokemon Switch, Scoop up, and Swap Spot. I'll probably save my mats for either a Deoxys-A to fully embrace the cancer or a Metagross so I can laugh at these assholes. Shouldn't need them till I hit masters though.

Vibrava doesn't have an ability that lets it move through enemy Pokemon. It needs to rely on winning a fight a lot of the time to get into the enemies backfield which is not good when it generally has to rely on Supersonic. Even with the enemy confused it could take a great deal of time to get the kill with how much purple it carries. Trapinch and Vibrava operate very differently and I think three is overkill. Especially when the inclusion of Trapinch largely eliminates the need to run goal block and allows for more options in plates.

I am seriously not understanding the Vibrava hype, I'm having better luck with Flygon. Am I just using it wrong?

What's a better figure to use than Lucario?

Mine has decided on being a dumb mutt and missing or landing on dodge in the last five matches I've had.

Opponents cannot move next to and attack Vibrava on the same turn.
When Vibrava is on a corner, anyone trying to move past it is forced to stop.
This means a single Vibrava is blocking up to four spaces at the same time, and your opponent HAS to take at least two turns to knock it out.
And if they do attack, they need to get by two huge purples (one of which confuses) and a 70-damage white on a figure that has nearly no miss. Even if you roll the 40, it gives them -1MP which limits their mobility.

All of these combined with the +1 MP from the gym and the fact that things like Shuppet exist means Vibrava is a huge zoning tool. Flygon is radically different and can't really be compared, apples to oranges.

Looking at it again more carefully I actually think 2x vibrava/ray/goomy/lucario/kirlia would work well.

Vibrava is one of the best 3mp mons in this gym for sure and purples that displace or KO are good against round teams. Rayquaza is one of the better gold attackers too in this gym

Why are Zekrom and Reshiram so small? A huge flaw in otherwise great figures. Everything else dwarfs them.

because resiram and zekrom are wider than they are tall. They need to fit the entire figure onto the base.

With figures like Gyarados who is also wider/longer than it is tall, it can be put into an interesting pose. Same with Rayquaza. It's partially coiled up.

If you look through official art, R/Z don't really have any cool poses. They don't really do anything with their wings. It's like they're fixed in that one position. Ho-oh can roost, it can fly, it can do that sick midflap like its figure in this game. But R/Z though, they just kind of keep them stretched out.

Their wingspans take up the entire width of the base. Since their bodies are shorter than this wingspan, they end up looking tiny and awkward.

I'm also disappointed with how they look. They're definitely two of the most boring looking EXs

You have too many defensive options. Literally nothing you have can deal with Zapdos, for example. If your opponent's fielding a good Gold or something that can swing for over 70, you have to pray for a surround (which won't happen considering your tame purples).

Seriously, what's the point of having a defender if you're gonna give it an attack that a fucking Bidoof can beat. And mind you, Bullet Punch's wheel size is bigger than it's Metal Claw size so you're basically giving it a1/4 chance of jobbing. And just to put icing on the cake, its fucking Miss is right next to Bullet Punch, so if you ever get confused and still only have it at level 4, good fucking luck.

They either need to buff BP's power, decrease the BP wheel size and allocate them to the Dodges, or just replace it with a 3rd Metal Claw.
