- Beast Balls are a new type of Pokeball introduced in Generation 7
- Porygon is only obtainable as a gift in Alola
- You can also obtain a Porygon in the Mirage Island of ORAS BUT since Beast Balls didn't exist in 2014 there's no way to capture it in one
- Porygon also only breeds with Ditto, but Ditto can't pass down the Pokeball

Tried to import the ORAS Shiny Metagross for someone with the Legacy ORAS Wondercards in the SuMo PS codes. It imports onto my cart fine, but cannot be traded.

I've had no issue trading event mons imported that way in the past, though granted those were on XY and ORAS. So maybe GF wised up to how it was working and put a block on it.

I know one of the Shiny codes is blocked now, but the other one (which changes the IVs) still works.

Was just trying to narrow down the issue. Could just be those ORAS Legacy codes being used on SuMo.
