This one, really. Personally, Samurott went from one of my least favorite designs of all time to one of my favorites of Gen 5.

I think the big jump from Dewott and the inital artwork not doing him justice was a major part of the problem.

Most middle stages aside from Ivysaur, Bayleaf, Grovyle etc... look like shit. They're meant to be like that I think. I mean, they're in between this cute first stage and then a final monstrous stage. They're teenagers, it's gonna look weird
