My most recent playthrough was a BW dragon monotype, currently doing Heartgold electric with a Rotom, Electrode and Lanturn

it hits as hard as sharpedo but is way slower and can take half a hit more than sharpedo

Crawdaunt was pretty good as a Water-type, but it didn't actually get any Dark STAB (it only learns Crunch in FRLG for some reason) and it was a bit slow. If you're playing in Gen III I'd go with Sharpedo/Cacturne, purely because they can actually use Dark attacks.

Nice team btw, monotypes usually end up looking pretty cool

holy shit that's almost exactly the same as my firered team from a few months ago

only difference is I used hitmonlee instead of jolt

I beat Sun with

This game had too many good Pokémon available early on. My team was full by the time I got to Akala Island
