Do you think Niantic will ever nerf Blissey? I took down a level 5 gym with 2 Blisseys earlier and each one took me 80 seconds to KO. They even hit pretty hard despite using non-STAB moves (one had Dazzling Gleam, the other Psychic). Not to mention I had to KO the first 3 times and the second 2 times, putting me at that goddamn gym for like fifteen minutes total, including the other mons.

There's no reason for one mon to be so absurdly powerful when placed in a gym compared to anything else. Blissey is, when taken relative to the rest of the metagame, worse than Mega Fug. No counters, will almost always take out at least one of your mons (my Golem did the most damage with Stone Edge and may have been able to 1v1 it if I'd dodged better), and takes ages to KO.

South Australia. Mountain biomes (Dragonite) to the East, desert (Larvitar) and urban (Chansey/Snorlax) in the middle and beach/sea (Dratini/Dragonair) along the coast.

Pretty much everything spawns here. Surprisingly, the capital city has the worst, lamest, mostly shitmon spawns, but has massive clusters of Pokéstops for restocking items.

The buddy system was implemented in september, you've had plenty of time. fortunately for you the legacy moves for attacking aren't optimal, still god tier but not like the new gay ones.SW/DC is still its best defensive moveset imo - im already used to dodging outrage and hurricane. I had to power up a drago for a spot in a gym but then i caught one with a pinap berry recently. I'm sitting on 300 Horsea candies since the update

I've been doing gyms again for a few days and I find them really fun. However, I'm having a lot of trouble with dodging moves. The entire thing seems so buggy and glitchy. Only sometimes the move name shows up before the attack happens (which is how it's supposed to be I guess) and even then I can't always dodge. I'm swiping like a maniac, but sometimes either my Pokemon doesn't move OR I swipe perfectly and I still get hit. Let alone when the move name doesn't show up at all, and a move happens out of nowhere.

I really want to get better at this and contribute to some gyms. How do I do this?

This upsets me the most from this game. When it first launched, I went exploring to all kinds of hiking trails, parks, lakes, etc. and found nothing but the usual rats, birds, and ducks. Then I realized everyone just groups around lures near strip malls for good monsters. Not a very adventurous game. The trailer was false advertisement to the max.
