People always say Slugma and Magcargo are from Gen 3 when they're Gen 2, so there is that. I recall a thread about a week ago where a guy claimed that rather than him being wrong, the fabric of the universe had shifted.

Its stats are definitely mediocre, but I still remember how amazed I was of all the cool moves it got. Learned Flamethrower early, and then Rock Slide to use alongside that Rock typing, shame it didn't get Recover until Gen 4. That and its typing was such a refreshing sight from all the pure fire types around that time.
