I've honestly seen this artstyle posted more here than on tumblr
I don't even know what it is
Also the proper response is
>>>/lgbt/umblr
>>32044799
>posting the new undertale here
>confused why people think it's retarded
>>32044818
i thought they werent gonna make any more undertale
>>32044737
>>32044818
>the new undertale
I'm sorry what? I never even heard of this game.
>>32044818
>the new Undertale
I saw my first real glimpse at this today with my brother incessantly showing me stuff about it. I knew it would be cancer. Apparently my gut instinct was right...

it is not actually an undertale game, its just has a similar level of edge
>>32044942
I've looked into this game. It doesn't seem like it's for me. I'm too old and not depressed enough.
>>32044874
i played the game and liked it, i wouldn't quite say its to the level of undertale cancer yet but it is probably going to be there soon
>>32044953
Unless it becomes the less cancerous version of Undertail
>>32044968
its gonna stay the way it is or its gonna surpass undertale, there is no in between
>>32044982
Well, since it's VERY heavy on story focuse, I don't think kids are intrested in story focuse games with less gameplay
>>32044990
I'm really not crazy about this recent trend of "games" foregoing gameplay. Story is great and all, but that alone doesn't make a game.
>>32044990
i don't know about that, life is strange is pretty popular with the kiddos
>>32044998
i am not a fan of story game either but i thought they did it right, that may just be me though i recommend trying out the "game" if you have 20$ burning a hole in your pocket
>>32045001
I guess, but it didn't got the overexposed as undertale.
>>32044853
Gregg rules, mkay?
>The new Undertale
>barely even has the same premise as Undertale
>barely even has the same hyper as Undertale
>barely even has the same following as Undertale
>doesn't even have the same gameplay as Undertale
I remember why I stopped coming here now, there's just no stopping /vp/ from walking into a pie in the face.
>>32047880
>attracts the same demographic
>has the same shitty premise where it's whimsical anthropomorphic characters in a depressing situation
>has similar heavy-handed messages
>not the new undertale
What is this cat and why is it so popular?
>>32047915
>Same demographic of what
>Wow, I guess that means that Wakfu is like Undertale, huh
>'Hey people are like people, man, friends are cool' is a message that literally every JRPG and everything else under the sun has done
>you keep doing this repeatedly
I'm still waiting for my wallet to be destroyed by this one. It doesn't even have to be a full game, rather it could be dlc with its own amiibos.
>>32047932
>using greentext incorrectly
>being a newfag
For the sake of calling out your bullshit I'm going to respond anyway, but this is quite possibly the greatest sign of Reddit I've seen this week
Actually, given what you're defending here, I'd say you're more likely from Tumblr or Twitter.
>Same demographic of what[?]
Teenaged to 20-something white girls and emotional/feminine/feminist white boys who consider themselves counterculture and care far too much about social issues. Or, as it's more commonly known, Tumblr.
>Wow, I guess that means that Wakfu is like Undertale, huh[?]
Since when is Wakfu about anthropomorphic characters? I thought they were like elves and shit. I don't know or care enough about that series to continue this line of questioning. Did you assume I liked it or something?
>'Hey people are like people, man, friends are cool' is a message that literally every JRPG and everything else under the sun has done
Did I say JRPGs are good? Did I say that other games with this shitty message are good? Why are you making these retarded assumptions?
>>32048091
Why are you still responding to an obvious bait thread? Why are you still on this board that hasn't changed in like, 4 years? All right, fine, let's get to arguing on this board about a franchise that's stayed the same.
>Or as its more commonly known as, Tumblr
Amazing, it's like you have tunnel vision and don't realize there are furries, people who like visual novels, people who'd like the off-kilter art style, or want something to do.
>I don't know or care enough about that series to continue this line of questioning.
Amazing, I don't care either so let's skip it too.
>Did I say JRPGs are good? Did I say that other games with this shitty message are good? Why are you making these retarded assumptions?
You're on /vp/ which is arguably just as samey as the series itself. You pretty much repeat what everyone else says, being 'Tumblr likes it', or JRPGs are shit when I keep going to a board dedicated to playing one', or 'Did I say other games that have the same narrative but a different premise that keeps it fresh are good'. Why are you even here?
>32048091
>moving goalposts
Not even worth the (You)
>>32048143
sorry, meant for >>32048091
>>32044818
>the new undertale
I haven't played this new game but from what I've gathered on /v/ it's closer to Gone Home than Undertale. Undertale has some tumblr-y characters and the gameplay is pretty easy, but at least it has actual gameplay. The new game with the animals seems to just be a 2D walking simulator.
>>32048140
>but there are OTHER people who also just so happen to generally browse Tumblr just as much that like it too!
Fascinating.
>using "Amazing" twice
Astounding.
>You're on /vp/ which is arguably just as samey as the series itself.
Fascinating.
You act as if I care about that. You act as if I don't groan at every horrible botched attempt at story in this series. I play Pokémon for good and consistent gameplay. If I want good story, I'll read a book.
You also act as if I care about what /vp/ is generally like.
>You pretty much repeat what everyone else says
As opposed to you, who repeats the same "It's not Tumblr! It's not Tumblr!" argument that everyone else defending these games does when it's proven that these games specifically target that demographic.
>Why are you even here?
To shitpost, like everyone else.
Why are you here? To preach about your GOTY?
>>32048201
>Fascinating.
I know, right? You should probably do some research, but considering you're a parrot, I doubt that'll happen.
>Astounding.
Scintillating. Arousing. Magnanimous. Stellar.
>I play Pokémon for good and consistent gameplay.
The consistent gameplay of only 30 or so out of 802 being worth anything in the long run sure is pretty consistent I guess, so hats off to you for sticking to it.
>As opposed to you, who repeats the same "It's not Tumblr! It's not Tumblr!" argument that everyone else defending these games does when it's proven that these games specifically target that demographic.
I don't really care who it's aimed at in the long run, but I know there's other people that are willing to like it outside of a hugbox like 4chan or Tumblr.
>To shitpost, like everyone else.
See? A parrot.
>Why are you here? To preach about your GOTY?
I'm here to watch you say things people have already said.
>>32048230
>literally parroting "You're a parrot!"
The ironing.
>The consistent gameplay of only 30 or so out of 802 being worth anything in the long run sure is pretty consistent I guess, so hats off to you for sticking to it.
As opposed to the walking simulator you love so much? That you're still defending even though you're expressing so much dislike for continuing this conversation?
>I'm here to watch you say things people have already said.
If you want posts to be more original, feel free to go to /r9k/, where there's a filter for unoriginal posts.
Or you could just leave. You describe 4chan as a hugbox but you're still here. Still posting.
Insert unfunny Simpsons reference here.
>>32048230
Oh, by the way, I should probably mention that saying "only 30 Pokémon are ever viable!" is parroting the same thing people have said for years.
But feel free to continue crying about how I'm the parrot. Polly want a (You).
>>32044902
Holy shit this made me laugh harder than it should have
>>32048289
>The ironing
Isn't it great you're still going for this? It's in my first post, you literally walk into this every time without fail. The longer this goes, the more it comes true about people like you just walking right into a straight up trap.
I guess I can finally like Undertale now
h-haha
>>32048316
>>32048321
Yes, that's an image file of a meme, very well done.
meme
>>32048334
And that's an unrelated gif of a shit anime.
What's your point, famalam?
>>32048359
My point is you just keep walking into it over and over like literally everyone else. It's fantastic.
>>32048373
And you keep insisting that pretending to be retarded online where people can't detect sincerity is clever and not stupid and pointless.
Congratulations, you acted so dumb you got somebody to believe you're a moron. You must be proud.
>>32048441
You just keep doing it. Incredible. It's exactly what I expected.
>>32048456
I like that you keep replying to me while acting so smug about me replying to you.
You gonna keep giving out the (You)s you so strive to receive like it's communist candy or what?
Go ahead. Give me another (You). Reply, just as I want you to do.
>>32048512
What I find hysterical is that you just don't want to admit you got led around by the same trap that every other person who fell for it also did the same thing you did. I was right, /vp/ really does walk right into a pie in the face. If there is a post about something 'Tumblr', someone like you comes right on it.
I kinda wish "pretentious know-nothing know-it-alls constantly walking into the same rake over and over again" wasn't the best enjoyent that /vp/ had to offer, but...here we are.
I'm waiting for another cross over pic.
