Cursed Body makes it's SubSplit set even better, and it gives you a chance for hax against choice users which can come in handy sometimes.

Contrary Leaf Storm is fine. It would be a direct upgrade to Serperior, boasting much better Speed and significantly more power even after factoring in held items.
Leaf Storm/Dragon Pulse/Focus Blast/Hidden Power Fire or Iron Tail would be the go-to set, though the last slot really doesn't matter because after a boost and SR damage you can destroy just about anything not named AV Magearna.

If you don't make plays you don't. Gengar's Immunity to 3 types and 4x resistances is what made it a great glass cannon. It's Gengar's bread and butter. Without it, it's significantly worse than most other glass cannons like Alakazam.

I would make it Rock/Ground instead.
Hear me out on this one.
First of all, Rock/Ground is one of the best offensive STAB combinations in the game. There are 802 Pokemon right now, and EdgeQuake alone hits over 790 of them neutrally or better. The only reason why none of the existing Rock/Ground-types are offensive hotshots is that they're all slow as shit. Dayroc does not have that problem. Secondly, Lycanroc wasn't going to survive a Super-Effective hit of any kind anyway, so the defensive flaws of Rock/Ground really don't matter. In fact, it's actually better off defensively because it takes less damage coming in from Stealth Rock and it has an immunity to abuse.

Unburden is actually a pretty good ability, it's just that Sceptile's is unable to take advantage of it. Personally, I think a Special Moxie could work well on Sceptile. Just give it Nasty Plot or something and watch it turn into a ghetto Salamence.

This guys special movepool is disgustingly huge and sheer force makes it usable with his mediocre SpA stat but it doesn't hit strong enough. Buffing speed instead would've been much better too.

Memories now also give moves of their type a 1.2x boost on top of STAB, although this boost is only calculated once for a dual typed Multi-Attack. If original abilities are allowed, why not change the Magician ability so that instead of stealing items, it auto-sets Magic Room while making the user immune to Magic Room?
