Not counting Pikachu Libre and Shadow Mewtwo (because they're still Pikachu and Mewtwo), Pokken has more Gen 4 Pokemon than it does Gen 1 ones.

So no, Gen 4 isn't exactly lacking in Pokemon who get a lot of attention.

Absolutely nothing. Though there were some shitstains like Lopunny, Lucario and the generic main legendaries it made up for them with other top tier shit.

You do know Gen 4 was based around 'Evolution' and that's what Rowan studies in, hence all the pre/evos of Pokemon. So it makes sense, IMO I would like another gen like this, a mix of new Pokemon and some new pre-evos and evos to connect the gen with the past gens, apart from Sylveon, we've had 3 gens in a row without anything to connect with the previous gens. (Alola Forms not included)
