Sceptile is absolute trash in VGC, scrub. The only time it was ever relevant was in 2016 because it could reliably 2HKO the Primals, and even then you had better options for a Mega slot.

This anon is right. Sceptile is just a bro to use in UU, nothing more. Also you can get some dank boosts with lighting rod.

It's actually pretty good. It made Sceptile top UU so it's a huge buff. I can't think of many abilities that would be better and still made sense (Contrary, maybe Speed Boost but that's a stretch)
