Post your ghost bros here
My absolute favorite type. Post top six ghosts.
1. Golurk
2. Sableye
3. Dhelmise
4. Phantump
5. Mimikyu
6. Shedinja
The only ghosts I don't like at all are hoopa and oricorio. Other then those two they range from "good" to "absolutely amazing" to me.

This is almost my ghost mono team, with the little difference I have pumpkaboo/gourgeist instead of phantump and sometimes I use chandelure instead of sableye
>>32035849
1. Duskull
2. Rotom (basic form)
3. Sableye
4. Mimikyu
5. Golurk
6. Froslass
>>32035888
Good taste, phantump mostly for its cute design and the sad story of them. I love both the pumokaboo and phantump line but damn are their movesets and stats shit. Thankfully chandelur is pretty good, with a choice scarf it can be a nice sweeper.
>>32035936
Still a little sad about duskull. I love dusclopes and duskonoir, they're cool in their own ways, but duskull really was something special. Surprised we still don't have a pokemon that's just a reanimated skeleton, seems like such a classic idea with an infinite amount of potential.
Is shedinja in this? I can't find it.
>decidueye is forever going to drag down the quality of ghost pokemon designs
>>32035996
It is, you can see its halo surrounding hoopa and its wings/backspikes behind aegislash
>>32036019
That mon barely looks like a ghost
>>32036033
>Spiritomb, Giratina and Shedinja are only represented, not really present
lame
>>32036049
Neither does the sword, anchor, Cicada ,Pumpkin and the orphen
>>32036075
all better than the faggot owl
>>32036075
An anchor and sword that moves on thier own, a skin shed from a bug pokemon that came alive, a stump that have a little ghost inside and the classic jack o lantern pumpkin, their are ghosts in design or lore, they don't just have the ghost type stapled to it
>>32036019
I still think it's a good design but I do think it could have been more ghostly. I'm more bothered by sensu oricorio, what a lame design. >>32036075
Hey don't you be shitting on any of those, those are all great. a ghost is more then just "a translucent thing with a little tale". Ghosts can take any kind of form and manipulate various things.
>>32036089
Can we do the starter war in one of the other 5,000 shitposting threads?
>>32036111
I also think that Decidueye has a good design, but it should have stayed as a grass/flying type or giving it a more ghost like design not just give us the first ghost starter
>Also nice trips
>>32036147
One theory I heard is that it might be partially based on the flatwoods monster. That may be why it has the pointed hood and the glowing eyes. Also a common theory is that the flatwoods monster was actually was an owl mistaken for a monster.
Still, it being an extinct Hawaiian owl makes more sense. Not a bad design, I quite like it, but it is disappointing.
>>32036229
It can also be based on the mexican leyend of the witch that said that witches could turn themselves into giant owls

Pumpkaboo is a cute
Praise the lord of all ghosts
so tough.
But my favourite will always be Trevenant.
1. Trevenant
2. Dhelmise
3. Aegislash
4. Chandelure
5. Mismagius
6. Gengar
Autum trevenant is best trevenant
To be honest with you anons, decidueye is the only reason why the ghost type is up on my top ten favorite typing. I don't know why I just felt the ghost type wasn't that interesting.
But when a when rowlet came out of no where with the ghost typing, it made me admire the ghost typing. To me it was just a meh, but now it's a owoooo,
So why do you ghost type fans hate decidueye anyways, is it because he's overrated in sun and moon.
You could say he doesn't look like a ghost, but when you really Look deep into his eyes, you'll start to get some sort of sinister vibe, I even noticed it's sinister eyes when the leaks were being suspected.
But seriously tho, why don't you like Decidueye, he's not the best but he tries.

It's not that we don't like decidueye it's luke you just said, it got its typing out of nowhere
And don't get me wrong, I like decidueye its a great great starter pokemon its just that it doesn't feel like a prpoer ghost in design and lore
>>32037348
>it doesn't feel like a prpoer ghost in design and lore
could you elaborate on this then? like the only reason why i think it doesn't wok design wise is that most ghost types have dark palettes and decidueye has a brighter one
and besides there are plenty of other pokemon out there that dont really look/feel like fitting into there typing so why make a big deal out this one? why not just accept it and move on
>>32035709
>>32035849
>>32037307
I don't feel enough was done to give it its second typing, it feels like it could just as easily have been Dark or even stayed as Flying. Still picked a Rowlet though it's design is still really neat.
>>32035849
1. Gengar
2. Dusknoir
3. Cofagrigus
4. Chandelure
5. Trevenant
6. Mismagius
>>32037307
Spirit shackle is the only unique thing about it that evokes the ghost type well.
Being a stealthy creature of the night doesn't seem very ghost like. There's nothing ethereal or spirit like about it's design or physical characteristics.
>>32037307
>I just felt the ghost type wasn't that interesting.
>The type with Yamask, Spiritomb and Shedinja
>not that interesting
I literally can't think of anything more interesting without delving into ancient or legendary Pokemon.
bump
>>32035849
1. Sableye
2. Cofagrigus
3. Shedinja
4. Jellicent
5. Mimikyu
6. Froslass
>>32037307
I like Decidueye. It does kind of come out of nowhere - I think a lot of people feel that ghosts aren't as unique with a starter randomly becoming a ghost rather than ghosts just being their own supernatural class. It kinda cheapens the idea I guess, having some filthy commoner learn ghost-type techniques when it isn't necessarily the most "ghostly" thing out there.
1.golurk
2.dusknoir
3.Aegislash
4.Trevenant
5.Driflblim
6.Decidueye
