For the love of fuck, do not fastforward in these. Memes Inc is forgiving somewhat once you figure out what warp pads are the right ones.
But man, the latter two. Never fast forward, and take your fucking time planning the steps you take and path which spin tiles take you into which directions. And remember you can rest in beds you can walk into. And Dr. Pavel, because he's your only healing in the ship.

Because the 5th gym leader's headliner is very very strong and can sweep an entire team if not prepared. Plus Memes Inc battles can give you the exp and levels to do good in gym 5.

As for Memes Inc NPC related shit, you need to find a grunt in Memes Inc that says "the card key isn't even here!" or something. Then you go into one of the buildings next to Memes Inc through the Animango sewer, inside is a hiker who gives you an Old Key.
With it, you go into one of the locked buildings in Animango, and explore it to find the Card Key.
With it, you clear Memes Inc for real.
Once you do, you have to find a certain Karma Grunt girl who speaks in all caps inside a maze on one of the floors. Hear her out, then go to the Panty Raid building in Animango, where a Karma Grunt will give you the Rusted Key or something.
With it, you unlock the metal door in the sewers, and take on Karma Hideout.
When you're done with all this, the path south of Parax opens up the long hard road to Esfores, and the side path to Wetback Trail / Border Hop / Carlito sidequest, and the isolated parts of Route 12 which you need Surf for.

As for Ruse Cruise Part 2, just make sure to save frequently and check all the rooms for useful items. There's three boss battles in the ship, each mon with held items. I found out the hard way by save reloading and Thiefing different mons each team. Up to you whether you're up to the challenge or not.

I meant the massive backtracking to the gym and back, but actually I know for a fact the devs know that memes inc is poorly designed and widely hated, because they put spin tiles in the walls to stop frustrated players from trying to skip the mind-numbing tedium. I'm sure they'll do something equally bad for the rock tunnel issue.

Proboskito becomes a murdermachine later as Venowatt. Tail Glow, Bug Buzz, Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb.
Not sure about Knokedge, I think Semrust/Semdemen becomes a good tank later.

Yes. I know I've come off as angry and rash whenever I talk on here, but it's hard not to be when there's so many issues impeding the game experience. All I really want is a good conversation about the game's balance between fans and devs, but I fucked it up hard.

Also, may consider anaconduke. Had a machmona which worked super well but became unusable so fighting is a must.

But yeah, try Wonder Trading shitmons out, and reload save until you get a mon you feel like using, then breed it with Blobbos in Day Care to get a new one, and remove the Wonder Trade level cap that way.
Another option can be to get a Smogaroben and raise it into a pure support Smoxilon.
Deemdow/Dowster is a really good mixed sweeper. Calm Mind, Spook Out, and other moves make it a solid pick. An alternative would be Oilslam/Isissin.

Just go with whatever mons you like the design of or feel like using. That's the best way to play.
