What did /padt/ think of SM16? I thought it was sort of okay, but I'm rather torn on it, it had some fun moments sure but I don't think the episode really did anything other than tell us more or less of the current whereabouts of Litten and Stoutland, but I guess that maybe I was expecting too much seeing it was another Tomioka episode and that I think the previous episode did set the bar higher.

I dunno about that. I mean, in between all the slapstick, the characters have been surprisingly mature about the issues they faced. Lana did not want Popplio to grow up hating humans because it was bullied by them. Lillie was absolutely devastated that she couldn't initially touch Shiron and did everything possible to grow closer to it. Mimikyu's cute demeanor was countered by it's actual and legitimate desire to kill Pikachu. There's always been a hint of darkness in all of the slapstick they've been doing so far.

I hope Jessie gets a Salazzle, it's literally the perfect Pokémon for her.

Then again, it would be unfair if Jessie had 3 Pokémon and James just one. Maybe give James a male Salandit.
