What a coincidence! Mine is Piplup as well. Froakie and Oshawott are good, too, though.

All water starters are great, I really love Popplio, Piplup, Totodile and Squirtle!
I also like Oshawott and Mudkip.
Froakie is okay but not my taste

Oshawott > Totodile > Squirtle > Popplio > Mudkip > Froakie > Piplup

I just love the starter pokemon in these games. it's pretty hard for me to choose favorites from them

Oshawott and Squirtle, Samurott for third stage. Not sure for second, they're all about even minus Prinplup, Croconaw, and Marshtomp being not great.

Penguin is great, but I remain at my ninja frog.
