Not doing a nuz at the moment, just not feeling it but regarding TMs I say it's fine if the game allows it. Otherwise it just feels like you wait until the very end to use the good TMs instead of putting them on a mon earlier.

I only do what's official TMwise, so if it's one use, I have to save it for what I need, whereas infinite TMs from Gen 5 on can be used as many times I like.
I'd say cheating to get infinite TMs in an older game is a no no.

It is yeah, but you'll want to not use the Exp Share much if at all. Some battles between the Furfrou double battle and Korrina's Gym are actually surprisingly rough, as is Victory Road.

Currently doing my first nuzlocke in Y, and damn, I screw up harder than I expected.
About the TMs: I go with what is available. I feel like I would end up not using most TMs if they were one use, wanting to save them for later or fearing I would lose them.
Of course I'll just have to deal with tat when I eventually nuzlocke he pre gen V games.

Also started a Fire Red Evolution Nuzlocke when I was waiting for low tide in Shoal Cave.
What can I expect? In terms of difficulty.Never played regular Red/Firered desu.

my actual copy of original silver has a dead internal battery, did a nuzlocke run for 6 hours today just to figure that out
now i cant even get into these emulators and ROMs, there is so much bullshit, unfinished projects to sort through
