How would a Normal-typePokemon go through oxidative phosphorylation in cellular respiration? What would the steps be behind the photosynthetic light-reactions of Grass Pokemon? How would Ghost-types generate ATP?

Are there no Bio majors on /vp/?

It's just kinda dumb trying to apply real word logic and science to a fictional world like pokemon.
And no I'm amath major

Nice numbers.

I'm majors atmicrobiology.
Already forgot most of that shit OP mentioned, focusing on cultivation of recombinant microbes now.

PhD mcrobiologist here. Can confirm that at some point your supervisor will suddenly bust out all those biochem terms you forgot years ago and expect you to remember what they are

Not all normal-types go through oxidative phosphorylation (e.g. P2) so I assume you have no idea what you're talking about.
Grass-types (and Mew) photosynthesize when you click Synthesis. By "light-reactions" I assume you mean when there's Harsh Sunlight - the steps involve healing 66% of its total HP rather than 50%.
Ghost-types use PP rather than ATP, like most pokemon.
Hope that was helpful.
