What should I play, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl or Platinum? I know

Platinum fixes pretty much everything wrong with the original Diamond and Pearl.
One of the gyms in D&P is math problems.

It will take forever to get that legit Mew in Ranch and you can't control its nature.

It's not worth it. D/P are just terrible overall. Platinum is far more fun.

It was more copy pasta of the same crap we have to run through each game, but this was Shakespeare compared to the last two generations.

Don't play any of them. All gen 4 games are absolute shit.

If you insist on playing them, do it on an emulator where you can use 20x speed. They're almost playable that way.
