Hey guys, what would a pokemon region based on Eastern Europe

don't we already have like two european based reigions? There are other places than Europe:

South America
Africa
Australia (could you imagine the sort of mons from the Australia version of the pokemon world)
Canada
Arctics? I dunno

Just to name a few places to draw from

I'm not saying I want the next game to be based on eastern Europe (although I wouldn't mind it) I'm just throwing it out there that I think it would be cool and wondering what other anons think it would be like?

I think it'd be cool, anything not set in Japan is always nice change of pace.

I also find pokemon in track suits strangely appealing.

my bad, I forgot Sinnoh was based on northern Japan and thought it was based on some northern European region don't ask me how I came to that conclusion.

But my point still stands, 4 regions based in Japan. Last 3 gens have been a nice change of pace but there are still many places to base regions off of.

The upside is that you'd probably get some of the GOAT mons and region that gen.
The downside is that KANGZposting would reach critical mass.

Russia would be the obvious choice to some. Possibly including GameFreak as a way of making Russian the next supported language due to how many people speak it. Russia would be great but I personally would like Serbia or Ukraine. Slovenia is a gorgeous country but as a pokemon region it might feel a bit too much like Hoenn to some.

Actually, given the good relation between Japan and Austraila I'm sorta surprised there hasn't been a region based in Australia yet.

Pokemon regions aren't defined by diplomatic missions, but by places Masuda likes to go on vacations. Everybody likes sponsored vacations.

I would surely bet on Machu Picchu for next Gen setting.
