The Alola ones, because they are fursonas with humanlike personality traits and physical features.

Gen 4 is the only gen where I don't 'like' any of the final stages. I don't really dislike them either though.

Gen 6 was RPG classes, while 7 was more like thematic roles with hero, villain, princess. I kind of prefer it when starters have a theme, and that arguable started more with gen 5 (unless I've just been missing shit. I guess 4 had the mythical thing with their Sun Wukong monkey and cosmic turtle, but I don't really think there was anything like that for the penguin)

Primarina is absolutely beautiful and amazing in singles
Incineroar has a great personality, cool design and is fucking great in VGC
Decidueye looks so cool and will have an important role in the anime

Either Gen 2 or Gen 5, with honorable mention for Gen VI.

Gen 5 is the only gen of starters where I actively dislike all of them. Gen 7 is almost as bad, but I can at least like Decidueye to some extent. 4 and 6 are the ones that I don't dislike, but can't really bring myself to like either.
