Well, looking past whatever personal prejudices this board might have against 3d women, the game and the message it tries to convey just aren't very good.

I get that it's supposed to explicitly pander to a group of people who feel underrepresented (female gamers), and I understand how it can be rather frustrating having your existence be either overlooked or stereotyped above and beyond, but this is not the way you do a message.

To explain it simply, Pokémon might be the most gender egalitarian videogame in the industry, it lets you play as a boy or girl, with no relevant difference in gameplay or story, none of its themes ever focus on any topics exclusive to either men or women, and the sheer variety of Pokémon means there's little to no chance of someone disliking all of them.

Now look at what Pure Pink does. It only lets you pick girls, the colour scheme and style is deliberately feminine, and the evil team is literally just masculine men, so the themes are only relatable to women, and the narrative actively antagonizes men.

Plus, there's the implication all women hate masculinity, all men hate femininity, and that no person can like anything associated with the other gender, so guys can't find anything cute or pretty, and girls can't like something cool or powerful.

That being said, I do agree with the point you're making. A lot of what girls (or at least, the mildly reasonable ones) dislike about some video games and the attitude used with making media for them is that it's literally made FOR them and other, often cooler, stuff is considered "off limits" and "for boys." They're told to pretend to change diapers with dolls that, as opposed to the things male toys do, have "really able to poop" as their selling point. If I was a girl I'd definitely feel bad that guys are told they should look up to people with super powers and girls should look up to housewives. They're forced to aim much lower imagination-wise, or at least encouraged to. On the opposite end of that guys are essentially punished for embracing their feminine side. This leads to overly submissive and boring women and overly masculine and uncaring guys, both unbalanced. Rather than media making things for girls and for boys they should make things that are legitimately good and appeal to both genders, a perfect example of this already IS Pokemon. Hell, I meet more female Pokemon fans in real life than I do male ones. If more media were like this the lonely ones among us could more easily find a girl that wants to play video games and go see super hero movies instead of settling for a girl with "normal" girl interests that wants to watch the Kardashians and shit while scoffing at your more "nerdy" interests. We already met with the girl, she's called Anna and has some kind of crazy psychic soul vision where she sees friendships between people as physical strings and the player as 'glowing'. Worth noting is that the leader of the evil team, a woman called Lin, is invisible to her, implying she's literally soulless or something. Also worth noting is that multiple references are made to Lin being a young girl at the same time as a lot of other characters, implying she's somehow been living through timelines.

A Gothithelle somewhere in the game also tells us that our destiny is to return back to 'the void', so in the end we may finally be freed from the game. Going to be the girl makes another wish to bring us back to this hell

I get you for sure. I think the mind state most females have, which is partially the fault of the sort of stuff you and I are talking about, is very harmful.
