There are enough of Pokemon Fanbases out there, including Deviantart. We only have over thousands of fanbases, but there only enough. Enough starter fanbases, fan clubs, etc.
That's all I explain.
Also, Meganium is just a old starter evolution from Chikorita.

I actually chose Chikorita/Meganium in most of my GSC playthroughs (including the first run) but the line really just hasn't aged well
