I like both honestly but vileplume is one of my favorite pokemon ever. I love the idea of a giant smelly flower just walking about. Victreebell is cool too though. Shame the flower/plant pokemon of later gens kept getting shittier and shittier. I don't mean to sound like a genwunner but going from vileplume and victreebell to shit like lilligant, florges, and tsareena is shitty.

Agree, old grass pokemon were cooler, just think about Tropius, Cacturne, Shiftry. We have cool pokemon in the late gen(Trevenant, Ferrothorn) but the trend of waifuism in the grass type is getting too stronk

But yeah we still get cool cool grass type, dhelmise is in my top six pokemon ever made, but as far as the "humanoid plant craeture" that seems to be in every gen it just kept getting worse. Luckily shit like tangrowth, trevenant, and pumpkaboo make up for it.

Victreebel was on my first ever Pokemon team, so I like it more than Vileplume. Almost always cursed to die in a Nuzlocke though, it's really frail and quite slow, and as Bellsprout it gets barely any moves for a long time.

Grass has plenty of awesome Pokemon.
