There's a lot of varied typings, surprising depth like if you use Theif on mons Merchants/Jews send out, you can steal their held Stardust/Nuggets, which also works with item mimics - and some trainer mons have stealable Eviolites, Macho Braces, and other held items cool designs, and the music is really good. Basically outside the memes, this hack has enough work put into it that it is worth playing regardless.

You know, the dev team is a not so large, happy family that happily works on their child. They are not looking for people to join them, and if they are, they just want people to code something or do some menial labor. Last thing that the dev team wants is an opinion about game content. Back when the IRC was open, any criticism whatsoever was prone to cause long lasting shitstorms, and there were some dedicated shitposters, too.
You want to help, that's nice. But does Clover need your help? Most likely no. Will your help change anything? It might bring the next release about a week earlier, but that is all.
This comes from a person that joined as a stranger, did most of the trainers as stranger, shitposted as stranger, and left this project about three times as a stranger. My contribution wasn't anything significant, (anybody could have sit for about 20 hours on it), and my attempst at doing some well-meant changes to improve the game were met heavy disregard.
I say, let them kids do their game, as we can see in the demo, they actually know what they are doing.

Two things
1.Loading your save will make the message "The save file is corrupt,the previous save file will be loaded" appear but the save is fine.

2.Do not soft reset the game,it messes up the text.

Shurismash, nope. Can't stand that and Sonnanos for some reason. Maybe the dislike of the latter is due to how many times I had to reload my save due to a Sonnanos using Knock Off and permanently losing a Lucky Egg or Exp. Share. Lizakbar was my starter, so props to that. The others are just fine. 7/10

Their names are now nothing more than mere buzzwords used for when someone has an unpopular opinion, much like how feminists call anyone who isn't radically left a nazi. Flamewars in these sorts of threads were started by devs due to constant promise breaking about the Kekkoh dex being locked, all because they don't like something that Avi made and therefore must remove every trace of it. They even go as far as to replace them with even shittier designs and say they're good just because they aren't by Avidraco. Nobody learned from this mistake and managed to keep doing it until they touched the Ebin dex, which was also supposed to be locked. Half of the "arguing" would've been avoided if you just kept to your fucking word.

shurismash was a real hero sweeper, and solannos was a great close combat user. tied my team together near the end

i avoid naming mons, since i either go too autistic or too ironic for any cohesiveness.

To be fair, that's on mGBA, but that's only because I had a savestate near a battle there. I also checked on the most recent version of VBA-M, and it was clear there, with working audio. Maybe try messing around in the audio settings in the most recent version of VBA-M; try selecting a different audio device on the advanced tab to see if that helps.

Haven't used either of them but I'd probably go with frieden because it gets good recovery and good abilities for a playthrough. Frosowl is extremely frail and has a pretty meh typing.
