OU has been ravaged for too long by ultra beasts and tapus, and it is time for a hero to save the day! It is up to you to conjure up a new mega evolution to fight these threats!

One catch though: you have to start out with a shitmon, one that is unlisted on the SM OU viability rankings. You can make up new moves and abilities, but if it is banworthy, you lose. It also has to mega evolve via held mega stone, and can only gain +100 bst.

Hard mode: No Slaking, Regigigas, Or Archeops.

Which underdog will save us from this madness?

A very powerful snowballing sweeper with strong dual STABs in Gunk Shot and Earthquake, Ice Fang coverage, first turn Intimidate, and can Coil and Speed Boost simultaneously, essentially turning it into a physical Quiver Dance. It is also bulky enough to survive an Earthquake from Adamant Lando-T after Intimidate drops and one Coil boost, after which it OHKOs with Ice Fang.

Also alternatively Seed Bomb is an option over Ice Fang to bust through Unaware Quagsire.

1. Megas can't gain or lose HP.

2. Lowering its speed like that is exactly why M-Chomp is worse than regular Chomp. Not that I think regular Haxorus is fast enough for it to be held to that standard, but even that much speed loss on a "decently" speedy Pokemon hurts more than you'd expect.
>>
>>31972589
Differences between mega haxorus and mega Garchomp though
One has dragon dance
>>
>>31972589
It kills Garchomp because 1. he can't boost his speed, unlike Haxorus, and 2. he sits at a trolly speed tier that puts him just above certain threats, whereas Haxorus starts out below it. Not the same.

62 HP
65 Atk
52 Def
159 SpA
114 SpD
129 Spe

New moves: Earth Power, Earthquake, probably some "Mud" attacks

The idea is that you'd send it in against something slower and use Electrify - it turns whatever attack they use into an Electric-type move, which won't do shit to Heliolisk because it's a Ground-type now, so you get a free Speed Boost. Then you nuke stuff, at least in theory.

Dunno if it would be broken (it can basically stall out most attackers for 32 turns with Electrify), but priority moves exist so probably not.

I'm making a mega Samurott.

First, Samurott's movepool is a little lacking. It can now learn Liquidation (waterfall is nice but I love Liquidation), Sacred Sword, Iron Head, Agility, and it can now learn Lightning Blade, a new move distributed to all physical Electric types and all blades users, such as Aegislash and Gallade.

Lightning Blade
Physical, Electric
90 BP, High Critical Hit rate

Having actual coverage moves might move regular Samurott up to RU.

Now for the actual mega, we keep the Mono-water typing, but our new ability is Defiant. that alone will counter Landorus since Intimidating it only makes it stronger and you can kill Lando with Aqua Jet or Liquidation/Waterfall/whatever.

HP 95 (+0)
Atk 145 (+45)
Def 85 (+0)
SpA 115 (+10)
SpD 84 (+14)
Spe- 101 (+31)

Advantages:
-You can break most walls with that coverage and Base Power. Tapu Fini and Celesteela cry when they see Lightning Blade. Rotom and Mega Venusaur could give it trouble, though.
-Speed is slightly above average, Agility can make it even faster. Aqua Jet lets you hose things faster and frailer than you, like Pheromosa
-Access to Swords Dance for more sweeping or wallbreaking power
-Defiant means it makes Landorus cry
-Can run several different sets (SD, Agility, all out attacker, and Encore, all with different coverage moves. Can be use as a sweeper or as a wallbreaker.

Minuses
-You can still burn it
-Bulky Grass types shit all over it. It can use Iron Head to screw over Tapu Bulu, but then you wasted a moveslot on Iron Head.
-Latias fucks with it if you aren't carrying Night Slash. Latias stil outspeeds it anyway an can rape it with a Draco Meteor.
-Zapdos and Rotom can fuck it up too
-Outsped and destroyed by Serperior its natural enemy.

Probably wouldn't be OU, but I had a fun idea at work today (it was a slow day) for mega Noctowl

50 --> 50
50 --> 70 (+20)

my man, the only reason to use Ninjask--at all--is Speed Boost/Sword's Dance/Baton Pass.

Why take away the only thing about it that's keeping it relevant? It'll still prolly be PU or BL2 with those changes, and it loses out on being one of the best/most unique baton pass setup mons in the game.

The accuracy drop from Hustle isn't that big a problem when you now have a) a reliable Ghost STAB in what is effectively a 90 BP Shadow Punch from base 184 Attack, b) a 150 BP Earthquake for nuking anything that happens to resist Ghost (which isn't a whole lot in Tapu-OU) and c) a STAB combination that isn't resisted by anything in the tier.

Pairing it with Gravity or (especially) Trick Room would end games.

New Move:
Sacred Chant
Steel Type
Special
90 BP
Sound Based
Priority -1
User opens its mouth and lets out a mighty bellow expelling evil spirits, this forces opponents to be switched out of battle.

Gains access to Volt Switch.

Arcanine now acts as bulky offensive pivot. Steel gives it immunity to poison plus a ton of resistances. Stab boost on its new move not only forces a switch, but even bypasses substitutes so you can tell sub boosters to fuck off.Combo this with Volt Switch to always allow the user to control the flow of battle. Regenerator allows it to switch in and out easier, especially useful after loss of Intimidate and due to now having X4 to Ground.

Suggested Moves:
Overheat - Due to easy and safe switching Arcanine completely ignores the loss of 2 Sp.Atk but another fire move works well if you want to stay in.
Sacred Chant - deals damage and forces a switch even through sub
Volt Switch - Allows Arcanine to put out damage and heal at the same time while also keeping up momentum.
Will-O-Wisp - Great if you want to spam some status moves to further whittle opponents down

Based the idea around Komainu. Komainu are steel lion-dog statues outside of Shinto shrines. They often are depicted in twos with one open mouthed and one close mouthed, which is supposed to represent them chanting Om to repel evil spirits. So Steel typing and a forced switching move seemed fitting and I went from there.

>You can make up new moves and abilities, but if it is banworthy, you lose

There's quite a few Mega Flygons here already (of course there is, because Flygon deserves a mega) but I want to do a different take on it than just "make Flygon offensively viable." so hear me out.

Mega Flygon
HP: 80
Attack: 120 (+20)
Defense: 110 (+30)
Sp.Atk: 80
Sp.Def: 110 (+30)
Speed: 120 (+20)
Moves: Fake Out & First Impression learnset, Bullet Punch & Sucker Punch egg move.

I tried to make this pokemon able to capitalize on its utility, with the bulk to switch in to hostile attacks several times through the match to get its effects. Its speed puts it over most but not over all, actually decent attack, and Dragon Dance can help both if you want to run it offensively (the added bulk will help provide time to set up). U-Turn is already in its toolbox, so it can still defog and gtfo, but now can do so more than once or twice and still be used as an attacker if you want.

The ability builds its primary function into it, and since Defog is no longer going to be its first move on the field, it's free to use the first-turn-on-field moves. It has priority better than BP40 now for those using it to try and grab revenge (or in SP's case, taking advantage of a predicted Defog for a free hit if the opponent misreads the set) but its speed boost and DD should make it less relevant for fully offensive builds.

I was also thinking of giving it Steelworker-Bug instead (on top of FIrst Impression), but again I didn't want to just go "Oh look I made Flygon an offensive powerhouse just like every other M.Flygon idea."
>>
>>31986495

Not a mega but an alternate form of Lunatone.
I would envision it to be more like a bipedal dragon.
Stats:110/45/90/130/90/135
Ability: Magic Reversal
It reverses the effects of status conditions.
Poison heals 1/8th Max HP each turn.
Bad poison does its respective healing.
A burn will heal it 6.25% every turn and boost attack by x2.
Paralysis will boost its speed by 25%, it no longer has chance to be unable to attack due to paralysis.

It can act as defensive calm mind(er) that holds a toxic orb for recovery.
It gets access to moonlight, giga drain, thunderbolt and moonblast.

What do y'all think? I think maybe the ability might be a little too much and is an admittedly uncreative way to make a Pokemon good, but it sort of makes sense for Farfetch'd because his signature item increases crit ratio. I tried my best not to min-max but Farfetch'd really needs speed

>Ability: Magic Reversal

Are you fucking insane? It's the Mega Fug of stall. Toxic Orb, alternate Protect and Cosmic Power until it's healing 100% at the end of each turn, and you still have two attack slots for your insane speed and spatk. You don't even sacrifice offense for your positively insane defense.

Just give it Stored Power while you're at it, it literally can't get any more broken.
>>
>>31987811
Shit I just realized I gave it +120 BST, ok change def to 60
>>
>>31988032
>>31987448
Addendum:
It can carry Magic Coat so you can't phase it either. Use a set like this;
Ancient Power
Literally Anything*
Cosmic power
Magic Coat
(Toxic Orb)
252Atk 252HP/Spe, Adamant

With no 4x weaknesses and that bulk, nothing's going to get through it in time to prevent it from stacking Cosmic power and the ramping returns of Toxichealing. Ancientpower is chosen over other moves because it has a chance to raise all stats. This is important because you want to raise your attack as high as possible.

Congratulations, you made the only pokemon that can sweep with Struggle.

*Special mention to Baton Pass, because it can pass on 6Def + 6SpDef + Whatever Ancient Power got you.

>>31979203
Fuck yeah it's usable
>>
>>31987811
>>31988071
As long as the ability only applies to slash/blade moves it won't be too much.
Brave Bird critting everything with an attack stat like that is overkill.
>>
>>31988747
A nerf I was thinking of adding would be to not crit if not effective, or if the attack would otherwise be weak if not boosted by crit(ex. if it can't break a substitute)
>>
>>31979734
Reducing speed seems counterintuitive on Electivire because of Motor Drive, and Electivire's main niche isn't being defensive, it's scoring supereffective hits. I'd suggest having Vital Spirit changed into Iron Fist. Also, Wild Charge should be buffed to 110 damage(Volt tackle to 140), and Cable charge into a 3-5 hit move doing supereffective damage with whatever Electivire finds near, like grass, iron bars, etc.

Mega Electivire

Ability change: Vital Spirit -> Iron Fist
Move changes: Wild Charge now does 110 damage. Electivire now gets Mach Punch and Drain Punch.

New Move: Cable Crash(Electric) - Does up to 4 supereffective hits(40 damage each) to opponent's weaknesses depending on objects found nearby(Grass, Steel, Fire, Ice, Poison) or how the whips crash (Flying, Dark).
Fifth and Final hit is always Electric, which does damage based on the number of supereffective hits done(up to 140 damage).

Mega Ability: Shocker - Powers up Supereffective hits to 2.5x and 5x
HP: 75
Attack: 123 > 173 (+50)
Defense: 67 > 77 (+10)
Sp.Atk: 95 > 115 (+20)
Sp.Def: 85 > 90 (+5)
Speed: 95 > 110 (+15)
Total: 540 > 640
>>
>>31988993
Why do you faggots always use a cudgel where a scalpel is needed
>>
Mega Typhlosion

Type: Fire
HP : 78
Attack: 84 > 120 (+36)
Defense: 78 > 67 (-11)
Sp.Atk: 109 > 140 (+31)
Sp.Def: 85 > 74 (-11)
Speed: 100 > 155 (+55)
534 -> 634

Ability: Sunburst

Fire type moves get +1 Priority in Sunlight, always do maximum damage(as in Eruption uses max HP instead of current HP when calculating damage), and can be used regardless of abilities(ignores Flash Fire and items).

Even if you're sashed, Drain Punch brings Electivire back above half health meaning it KOs you next turn no matter what you do.

>252 Atk Dugtrio Sucker Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Electivire: 14-17 (9.2 - 11.2%) -- possible 9HKO

If this is too overpowered, then Iron Fist I guess (shadow tag fits but he'd be so banned).

Oh god, look at these calcs, that's evil.

In a straight 1v1 with Mega Fug, it wins.

>TURN 1

>252 Atk Life Orb Mega Rayquaza Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Bastiodon: 65-78 (38.9 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

>Bastiodon used Curse!

Bastiodon: +2 Defense, +1 Attack, -1 Speed. Between 102 and 89/167 HP
Fug: 181/181 HP

TURN 2
>252 Atk Life Orb Mega Rayquaza Earthquake vs. +2 252 HP / 252+ Def Bastiodon: 34-42 (20.3 - 25.1%)

>+1 4 Atk Bastiodon Gyro Ball (150 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Rayquaza: 138-163 (76.2 - 90%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Bastiodon: Between 68 and 47 HP
Fug: Between 43 and 18 HP

No matter what Fug does next turn, it loses. Even if it uses Draco Meteor, it cannot KO if Bastiodon is on more than 56 HP, and is only guaranteed a KO if all previous attacks had done the maximum possible damage.

I will now attempt to make one of the worst Pokemon in the game OU.

Mega Luvdisc
Water/Fairy
HP: 43
Atk: 10 -20
Def: 185 +130
Sp.Atk: 10 -30
Sp.Def: 65
Speed: 117 +20
Ability: Amorous
Can inflict an opponent with the Attract condition, regardless of their gender. "Kiss" moves also gain 100% accuracy and use the opponent's Atk to determine their damage, if any.
The idea here is simple. Use Mega Luvdisc to absorb physical attacks, annoy with attract and sweet kiss, restore health with Draining Kiss when you can.
Min Maxy as fuck, but I can't think of a way to make this thing viable without going that route.
>>
Mega Gogoat
Grass / Steel
Ability: Filter
HP: 123
Attack: 100 > 120 (+20)
Defense: 62 > 82 (+20)
SpAtk: 97 > 117 (+20)

Speed: 68 > 68 (+0)

Not a mega but an alternate form of Solrock.
I would envision it to be more like a rhydon or rhyhorn for no particular reason other than it being a physical behemoth
Stats:110/135/90/45/90/130
Ability: Magic Guard or Rock head

It gets access to head smash and flare blitz from which it receives no recoil due to its abilities
Is this overpowered now?

Speed Boost makes it too OP. The concept and stat distribution is really good.
Maybe you can give it another ability to make it perfect.
