I'm actually a huge Unovafag. It's just that the first mons I thought of were entirely from gens 1 and 3.

Pretty strong but never shifts from his usual funny face. I've always had a thing for Psychic-types but he consistently stands out to me.

A member of my first ever team. I liked him before he was good, but that doesn't mean that such a thing has changed. I love his (former) lack of weaknesses and overall design.

Another mon I remember fondly from my first Pokemon adventure. You can't quite beat a giant metal kaiju. I'm quite sad that his mega isn't around this gen.

Brings up memories to the good old days playing Leaf Green. Funaware is one of my favorite abilities.

By now you should've realized I'm a waifufag. Primarina is my fav waifu. Also, she's a nice pokémon with a bulky spread and help from a friend with Intimidate.

My favorite Mega (Along with Blastoise and Lucario), very fun to use, and I got 50 wins in each Battle Tree mode using him, so he has grown a lot on me.

Togekiss redeemed the Togepi line for me, however I never really paid it any attention. It was so adorable in the anime it immediately jumped into my top 10.

I like all of the 'relic' pokemon (Claydol, Bronzong, Sigilyph, etc.). Bronzong is my favourite out of all of them, I think being able to pick which of only two weaknesses it has is also really cool (too bad they changed that).

Favourite Rotom form, old Chateau is one of my favourite locations. It's also my favourite pokemon from my two least favourite types.

On my team every time I play through Sinnoh, it's always carried its weight. I like slug pokemon in general but Gastrodon is my favourite.

Misdreavus was my favourite pokemon as a kid, Mismagius has been my favourite since I first played Diamond.

Unova is my favorite gen and Serperior is the strongest starter from there so I gotta pick. Contrary Leaf Storm is really fun.

He's bulky and is really good either is in-game or competitive. It's surprising how good he is. He's my favorite fighting along with Breloom but for now he fits better on the team.

Just like Conk, it's strong, bulky, but cute in the same time. I also used him along with Gyarados on Hoenn Battle Frontier.

Whenever I wanted a Fire type, either to fill the team or to breed I picked it but never really used on the right way. Learning now and it's a real threat.

I think it was my first favorite from Unova and no matter the gen it doesn't disappoint. Mold Breaker along with M-Gyarados is really nice.

I have other favorites from previous gens as well, but what I like the most on pokémon is how they perform in battles. Unova has a lot of pokémon that are good on that, and it has my favorite games on it, so I gotta represent with some of them on my team.

Favorite starter, hands down - even though I usually opt for the water starter. Always thought he looked cool, especially when leaf blade was his signature. Seems like he'd be really chill - lazing around in a tree somewhere would be nice.

It holds a lot of sentiment to me because one of the best times playing Pokemon was when my friend slept over and we pulled an all nighter. I was grinding up coins to get a Porygon. He was working to get a Scyther. Porygon2 is also pretty good with Eviolite. It's still one of my favorites and Scizor is still my friends favorite.

Everything about it is amazing. It's unique type combo, the fact it's always on it's tail, and that it loves it eating sweets. Instant bro.

My Zodiac sign is Scorpio, so it made me interested in Scorpions. Drapion looks cool, has a good type combo, and is decent in battle.

Neat as fuck design. I always thought knights looked cool as fuck. I love fighting types too. Favorite grass starter as well. It triggers my autism to have 2 starters, but it's so goddam cool.

My team isn't competitive by a long shot, they're mostly a comfy/bro squad. Ever since I started playing I've had a special love for them, even if there was a time where I only played with strong/edgy mons I still got them as HM slaves or any reason to have them with me one way or the other.

I even wrote a story about this character (Z) and how he got this team, but I'll keep the autism in my head

My brother used to have one on his team and I always liked it, especially because his Ninetales was strong as hell and wiped out my team. Besides, my best friend likes foxes so it's kinda symbolical and Ninetales became my 'starter'.

I think he was the first mon I caught... like ever. Back when I first played Emerald, I caught a Taillow even if it was weak I always liked him. More nostalgia than anything

I remember how I wanted Anorith but picked the wrong fossil. Didn't like Lileep at first, but once she evolved I thought Cradily looked badass. I think it's the cute/shy of the group that always freaks out everybody

The anime episode did a great job at showing this little guy as a funny one. I won the Indigo League with Dux.

He's the strong one of the group, period. I like how menacing he looks compared to the rest. I like dragons and Salamence is my favorite

Started to grow on me in Kanto. Stayed in my team through both Kanto and Johto all the way up to the Champion. Top tier design and early game although it gets fragile mid to late game. Still managed to keep it a relevant part of the team though.

Crobat is brobat. I'd only picked up the Zubat line in Unova (W2) after ignoring it in the previous games. Godlike speed + acrobatics made it perhaps the MVP in White 2. Now a dependable mon to turn to in any playthrough.

Cute and lovable design. I spent an enormous amount of time looking for one in Emerald years ago. Used to always have one in my Pokewalker as well.

Absolutely digged that design back in Emerald when I was into all things edgy. Loved the idea of speeding around the ocean on a badass torpedo shark. Still quite a handy water type and can prove to be quite versatile at times. A shame I haven't had the chance to really use it in recent games though.

Personally I just like the design of this one I guess. Has that certain goof to it. Never used it in any teams but am looking for the chance (never played Sinnoh). I used to walk it around in Soulsilver all the time just for that design.
