Something that just came out and it's sold out? Yea, there will probably be a restock but it could take awhile. But they did just restock dragonair, the eeveelutions, ninetails, arcanine and growlithe after like, 6 months being out of stock.

Jesus, who ever designed these two really dropped the ball. Midnight looks good from the side, but the front looks warped. Midday's whole face is terrible.

Its really upsetting that pokemon center consistently makes good plush but somehow found a way to fuck up my favorites.

I wonder if any of you guys can help me out with this. They brought back the Raichu plush which I've wanted forever, but in the store pictures he looks different and cheaper than the old one.

Here is a pic showing the new (left) vs. the old (right). The new one seems to be rounder and wider and less sculpted, plus the color is a sort of off-model sherbet orange. I also noticed they moved the factory from China to Philippines. Do you think this new batch of plushes might have poorer craftsmanship? Or maybe just shoddier photography than the old store pics?

I don't know where else to find information on this stuff, as very few people get this autistic about Pokemon plushes

I have both. I really like Raichu. Left is the older one, Right is the one in the store now.

Newer one is much fuller with stuffing. The tail is nicer, feet more sturdy. I don't think there is a quality loss at all.

From my experience the Philippines plush are the same quality, if not better.

I think pokemon center started taking better photographs so that's why they look different.

Got mine yesterday. Wish it was a bit bigger but overall it's pretty okay. Glad I didn't get impatient and buy it when it came out in Japan, not really worth it imo.
