These are nice and all, but I don't think you should paying so much attention to pokemon, both because we don't know their origin (why so many babies in other regions also Yungoos and Corphish are imported), and because the pokeworld might have a different history than ours. Architecture is more important, I mean you can clearly see the walled influence of Kalos' towns on Lacunosa and Johto's on Malie.

Only problem is that Unova and Kalos are canonically stated to be farther away from the first 4 regions. Also, we can assume Alola is somewhat closer to the first four regions since your mother says that Kanto is pretty far, but close enough so you can visit it.

Not 100% related but I remember this official map of the Pokemon World that was given out during the Darkrai movie in Japan. It even has all the locations from all the movies up to that point.
