I've been slowly and mindlessly grinding the Battle Tree to get some ribbons for my old bros, so I'm doing around 100-200 BP at least per day. As long as there's a few folks trying to get items or "finish" the game, maybe unlock the Red music for online usage or whatever it might be possible, we'll see as soon as 1 day has passed and we have some numbers to be honest.

I use Krokodile with MegaZard Y in doubles. They go well together and can roflstomp all the battles 1-39

I have Gastrodon and Muk on the back for switches and shit.

That's easy is enough people play.

The team I run is Life Orb A-Greninja, Garchomp leftovers (Now I use M-Garchomp after getting the Mega Stone), and Kartana with Fightinium.

Garchomp leads and solo's most of the battles.

Beat Red first time I reached level 20 in singles.

Battle Tree is just 3v3 smogon.

I'm doing doubles mostly, leading with:

Greninja@Focus Sash

-Hydro Pump
-Gunk Shot
-HP Fire
-Ice Beam

Sylveon@Pixie Plate
Modest w/Pixilate
-Hyper Voice

-HP Ground
-Protect

The Greninja is a standard min/max one while the Sylveon has a complex EV spread for VGC 14-15 which I forgot but it's bulky as hell so even Mega-Kangaskhan, Aegislash or Choice Band Smogonbird Brave Bird couldn't kill it in one hit.

In the back I have whatever needs the ribbons (Hyper trained previously) which right now are a Mawile with Fairium Z and an Empoleon with AV. The thing is I just press a super effective or neutral attack with Greninja and Hyper Voice (even against steel and poison types) to ensure max damage and destroy sturdy and focus sash. Usually Greninja goes down first but Mawile with intimidate makes the Sylveon even more bulky. Just have to deal with Ground and Fire types fast with this setup and it's pretty much a breeze.

Currently at 55 in super doubles.

Seems like the AI cant find the proper counters for tyranitar + excadrill lead. Plus gengar and arcanine in the back. All weak to ground and yet i keep winning against them.

A complete run of super singles will net you 244 BP. If 1,000 people do that, then we would only be 6000 BP away.

Garchomps moveset is: Sword Dance, Poison Jab, Earthquake and Crunch.

A-Greninja: Water Shuriken, Aerial Ace (You can change if you want to, I keep it on because of the anime), Night Slash, Ice Beam.

Kartana: Smart Strike, Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword, X-Scissor.

I've maxed out Att/Speed on all 3 of them. It's a pretty dandy team but if you make a wrong turn its easy to wind up with a loss.

Sword Dance Garchomp at the start of each battle unless you go against a mon that has Hail/Blizzard. It's best to go for an immediate kill because Blizzard 1 shots Garchomp.

I was planning on testing out mega beedrill in the battle tree anyways.

Probably will lose though.

Pretty easy. Earned 154 BP just this hour trying to beat my old rank

Would be a breeze if everyone just did the tree an hour a day

Mega Salamence alone takes on the majority of the Tree, Lele with scarf just has to click Psychic to win, and Aegislash provides a reliable switch on everything that can hurt the other two.

Okay, maybe not broken, but you can tell gamefreak knows what pokemon are popular, and what everyone uses. If gamefreak truly believed they were making good decisions with iron fist ledian/emergency exit golisopod/pikachu with a z crystal/etc. then they'd create those teams to rent

Super Grants 2bp on 1-10, 3bp on 11-20 and so on

If people use rental teams, I can it's feasible

I'm no expert, but I used megamence in battle tree a lot, and return is just about the only attack you need, I'd save other slots for utility. Occasionally dragon claw was useful, but I tried earthquake after an anon's recomendation and I almost never used it

I've got a bad feeling about our chances for completing it, but I'm glad they're giving out rental teams so people can jump in and participate without having a competitive team at the ready. Of course, I feel like a lot of people won't use the rental teams because they don't know they exist, but it's still better than nothing.

I'm no good at competitive and battle tree but managed to get a straightforward 50+ super singles streak last week with dragon dance mega-Salamence, Aegislash leftovers and life orb Tapu Koko.

Lead with Salamence and dragon dance shit unless they lead with an ice, fairy or dragon.

Tapu Koko will deal with your ice and dragon opponents, Aegislash to beat fairies.

Already over 10% done.

Emergency Exit Golisopod is a god in Battle Royale though, free switches are delicious in that meta and the fact you nearly always get a free kill if you have to bring it back in is nice too. I assvest mines and it even takes thunderbolts like a champ, unless tapu koko has been around or something.

Landorus-T, Pheromosa/Pinsir/Salamence/Aegislash/Ash Greninja has gotten the job done for me

Got to 50 wins and stopped because of how mind numbingly boring it was. Celesteela and toxapex are unkillable, and given that the AI cannot predict switches, they will attempt to throw rocks at Celesteela, and hit toxapex with earthquake. Exploit that behavior while racking up leech seed health. Watch out for non stab lightning moves, always scout with protect on Celesteela. Rotom wash was the only thing that I encountered that I felt could have thrown a wrench into my plans, but the AI didn't end up using him effectively.
