I think B/W's plot is worse than X/Y's, and I don't like S/M's sorta-rehash of it.
I don't mind generations having fewer new Pokemon. Having a full 150 new Pokemon or whatever leads to redundancies and bloat.
Chicken-chan is cuter when she doesn't have her stupid hat.

This isn't an unpopular opinion, but /vp/ likes to make it look like it is. All the gen 7 starter lines are fantastic. Anyone complaining that Primarina is tumblrbait or Incineroar is barabait or whatever are delusional tryhards that take stupid shit way too seriously.

I genuinely think that Pokemon Yellow is a fun game. Not good, so much, but I always have fun with it.

I wouldn't be unhappy if Kanto was remade for 3DS.

I don't hate that the main series games are getting easier. To me, that makes the games more fun to just casually play while doing something else rather than have your full attention on the game.

Iris is the best companion Ash has had.

Gen V are some of the best games in the franchise.

I seriously and unironically think that Best Wishes and the Unova Saga is the best the anime has ever been.

I feel I dont like the games as much as I like the concept and the world the Game Freak has made with our battle buddies.

I still ship Ash and Misty after 16 years.

As a huge Sinnohfag I would rather have Kanto remakes or SM2 or a long wait before Sinnoh remakes.

I enjoyed Best Wishes. Off the top of my head my favorite parts are the Meloetta Arc and the Crossdressing episode

I dislike Red. This goes against my belief that hating any character for what reason is retarded but I just don't like him.

Kanto wasn't a bad region. GF has never made a bad region. You just prefer the others more.

I don't like canonfags and refuse to think that everything that happens in a game is canon. Things like Red catching Mewtwo, Gold beating him, Brendan catching Rayquaza etc...

I know this really isn't a popular opinion especially on /vp/ but I really dislike Mega evolution. Can't really pinpoint why though. Designs? Maybe. I just plain don't like them even if I will use them. I just think reshuffling stats and giving older pokes new abilities etc... are much better

Of the Gen 4/5/6/7 games, Kalos has been the best region.
The fact that GF is making finding Shinies easier is great. Anyone else remember shiny hunting in Gen 3/4/5? IT WAS SHIT

That's a good thing though, steel and poison type attacks have meaning now and dragons get to be more commonplace since the type got reigned in. It's honestly refreshing to see things running iron head and gunk shot with purpose.

It may actually be my favorite Kalos family. Not even just starters. All of Kalos.

I want to see Pokemon Sun 2 and Moon 2 before we hear anything about Sinnoh remakes. I personally feel like SM was setting itself up for a sequel to the point where I think the guys at Gamefreak would be dumbasses not to make sequel games.

I think that Zinnia is one of the best written characters in the franchise and definitely the most interesting. I also feel like her story is far from over, so we'll see her again in the future.

I don't think the next main-series games will be on the Switch. Reggie stated the 3DS has "a long life ahead of it.", which makes me think at least the next Pokemon games will still be on the 3DS.

On a similar note, I know the odds are low, but I hope we see some kind of Pokemon Stadium or Colosseum on the Switch. As much as I want another Pokemon Snap, I know they're not going to give that to us.

I think both Chesnaught and Greninja are really creative, and then you have Delphox which is just "It's a fox, but it's a wizard" and doesn't have the expressiveness of the other two.

There have been no bad main series Pokemon games and I have played them all on release, each one was great fun even if the old ones haven't aged well. The consistently high quality of the series, despite /vp/ screeching, is amazing.
