i can't get into the pmd games but i fucking love dusknoir, definitely one of my top favorite pokemon

I liked it's design before PMD. But PMD made it my favorite villan of all pokemon games

I really recommend that you try to play Explorers of Sky at least, unless you've been spoiled already.

Explorers Dusknoir is hands down the best character in any Pokémon game when it comes to writing and all that jazz.

Eh, I like it but I kind of didn't like how different a direction it took the line in. Skull>Lantern>Spirit? Demon? Idk. Also the doorknob on the head, and it took the blank, ghostly stare of the other two away in favor of an "angry" look.
Duskull is one of my favorites though.

Duskull and Dusknoir are both reapers. Duskull is a more generic take. Dusknoir is a weird fantasy take. Dusclops is just a paper lantern thing kind of retroactively doesn't fit.

Is it? Eh, I can't say I prefer it. Dusclops I liked because of the odd, fleshy looking eye that Duskull's morphed into, but honestly, Duskull can't be topped for me, and noir doesn't introduce any features I like more, except for bringing back the floating eye. It did however keep the blocky hands of clops, which I didn't see the appeal of.
In terms of what I like, it goes skull, clops, noir. Doesn't help that it came hot on the gen 4 train of "trade with rare as fuck item" so it was hard to get and not really worth it with stuff like Gengar around.

Purely because of his role in PMD? Nah. Dusknoir redeemed the Duskull line after Dusclops ruined it.

And then Eviolite happened.

Yes, definitely favorite Ghost-type. It's honestly amazing how much PMD can make you love certain Pokemon, I didn't give a damn about Grovyle or Wigglytuff before this.
