On my very first playthrough of Gold I picked Totodile. In Silver I picked Cyndaquil but I coudn't bring myself to finish it. In Crystal I picked Chikorita.

Feraligatr is the best, but I'd rather use Azumarill. Meganium is pretty cool, but I'd rather use Sunflora. I don't like Typhlosion, and would much rather use Magcargo, but Magcargo is Kanto only, so I'm stuck with Typhlosion.

I like Feraligatr the best but I could never bring myself to pick it because then Silver gets stuck with the faggy plant dino. I went with Typhlosion.
