For Black, training before the 8th gym:

Team I am using in Sun. Moon is my main game, I am playing Sun for my living dex. Had to rush it for another Magearna. All the members were IV bred and EV trained beforehand so even without exp share the game was easy. Only Red made me sweat as I was left with only two very injured pokemon after battling him. After I hatch 20 eggs for the IV checker I will start the legendary hunt.

I'm doing a run on Sun version after beating Moon, for Living Pokédex reasons, and decided to breed up this team.

They're all penta-perfect where it counts and in beast balls. Raichu has Electric Terrain, Lucario is special sweeper with Vacuum Wave, Feraligatr is Sheer Force, Gabite is Rough Skin.
I briefly traded them back to Moon to fix up their movesets, imagine my surprise when I learned this gen's move relearner can tutor moves above their level.

Rhyperior gets too much hate. I get that it is a drastic change from Rhydon (which is more appealing to me) but as a standalone pokemon it isn't that bad. What it needs is a mega that brings back traits from Rhyhorn and Rhydon.
