ITT we post our real life teams.
>Pokemon are in the real world, you still live where you live now, in the same circumstances. Your occupation is the same, your free time is the same etc.
>You can have up to six pokemon
>One can be a starter
>The rest must be catchable in your local environment, no water types if your live no where near water etc.
>You Pokemon's evolutionary level, rarity and difficulty to train must be corresponding to your skill irl - if you are some NEET you can't have 6 Dragonites - be reasonable
Post yours below, mine is pic related.
My mom says I'm really talented

>lots of ducks around
>swan because uk
>lots of pigeons around
>have a cat and tortoises as pets
>best starter
>>31904719
Fuck OP's rules, it can be from anywhere you've ever been.
Like, I've been to an active volcano, so I'll be damned if I don't get to choose a Fire-type just because I don't live in Costa Rica.
i live in a mexican desert
Live in Middle Tennessee, specifically near Percy Priest Lake.
I teach English at a university.
>Tauros because it's fucking Kansas.
In hindsight maybe it shoulda been Bouffalant but meh.
>Litwick because I like candles and usually have one going all the time
>Snorlax because I'm lazy and fat.
Also there's no book pokemon that I know of except Unowns, but there aren't really ancient ruins around here.
>>31904480
I'm from Vancouver Canada so fucking water types
>fav starter and since there's a small meadow nearby my apt, turt looks like the kind of mon that would fit PERFECTLY in that small/narrow meadow.
>tangela also could fit really well in that meadow.
>i have a pet cat named "kitty," she looks alot like glameow but without the curly tail.
>the birds in my neighborhood look almost exactly like starly
>whenever i walk home from school, theres always pine cones on the sidewalk that i walk on.
>>31904480
A lot of Jews live near me so I guess this makes sense...
Doing my major which is environmental science.
Torterra is my main powerhouse. Wooper, trubbish, and lileep are just shitmons that help me with fieldwork.
>>31904480
>tfw when you take the subway often
>local wildlife
>have a dog
>would need a tropius for my job

Loophole
If I only capture Pokemon that live near my home.
I pretty much live a step or two from a river.
-Frogs at night
-Lots of grasses and weeds
-Dragonflies of all kinds everywhere
-A flock of pigeons living under a nearby bridge
-Although I've never seen a crab I have found numerous claws
>Live near biggest lake in Oregon and large forests
>Trevenant = Trees
>Leafeon cause there's so much moss near the lake
>Dragonair cause there's a lot of lizards
>Bewear cause bears n stuff live in the forest
>Sawsbuck because every day I see a deer
>Skitty cause it's my pet cat irl
>lotta coyotes out here
>snakes too
>cacti as well
>Blastoise wouldn't make sense here, Torterra is next best thing
>because sun
>lots of crows too
Can you guess where I live?
>Wartortle
I live near a beach, why not
>Eevee
I have a dog
>Murkrow
Makes sense, I've seen a crow before
>Vulpix (Alola)
Just got back from a skiing trip
>Vibrava
I've been to the desert before
>Riolu
I used to practice martial arts and I know someone who is a furry
>>31905298
>being this butt-blasted when someone makes fun of your objectively flawed economic system
>>31905432
Kangaroo land
In real life you probably wouldn't have more than one or two Pokemon like most NPC's from Gen V on because it takes a lot of work to actually look after a Pokemon

Knotted argh mint.
>Porygon-Z
I work with programming a lot so Porygon-Z is a perfect fit. It's also my favorite, so I'd go crazy at the casino near here to try and get one.
>Magnezone
There's a lot of steel work around here, and electricity and magnetism have heavy focus in my field.
>Rotom
I work with enough electronics to eventually find one.
>Zigzagoon
There are raccoons everywhere here. Also, Zigzagoon is cute.
>live in MA, which is close to New York, which would probably have Unova starters as choices
>pond in the back of my house lots of Frogs
>bats are always here during the summer
>would spoil and love the shit out of my Pokemon
>rodents are everywhere
>went with Pikachu for variety and Electric is my favorite type
rump
I live in a desert, I work on code, I live near a lake, there's a lot of pigeons here, and I have a bulldog
>live in northern US.
>kinda in and out of the city so most of the rats i see are at night.
>always see cicada shells during summer, >hear foxes at night and see deer regularly
>snakes and frogs are everywhere..
i think they're all at an evolutionary level that I can see myself controlling even if it would be difficult at points.
>>31905111
What job requires a tropius?
I'm studying herpetology, and have a bunch of reptile pets. These were the closest things I could find to some of those. Debated making the Caribbean rock iguana a hakmo-o, but sceptile suits her more, i m o. Badges were picked based on good reptile habitats and whatnot.
>>31910575
FUG background could not have been more appropriate
> Living in germany
> Far away from any big city
> Snivy as starter, and because I'm somewhat competetive I would probably be able to evolve it into serperior.
> I have a huge garden and there is a forest near my hometown, so I would probably own Pokemon who live there, but not really train any of them (exept for my starter of course), so Pidgeotto, Roselia and Shinx seem reasonable to me.
I live in St. Louis
Poochyena is my dog.
Koffing would likely have been foudn nearvy any of the factories we have.
St. Louis is famous for being one of the biggest hubs of engineering so there'd probably be some Klinks running around.
Drifblim is the hot air balloon parade that my dad took me too every year when i was a child.
I worked a job in a greenhouse a few years ago and there'd have likely been a Roselia to catch there.
Currently I work at a thrift store and we get a LOT of discarded toys so I have no trouble believing a Banette would be among them.
>live in the backwoods of the US
>Mothim because there are some huge silkmoths endemic to this area, and I don't think I could manage a Volcarona
>Growlithe is my dog
>Rowlet because owls are everywhere here and a small bird is a lot easier to live with than anything larger
>Herdier is my other dog
>Ariados due to the stupidly high number of gigantic spiders that live out here -- orbweavers and fishers get huge
>Wooper because there's a creek in my front yard and it's amphibian screaming season
I'm the person in the neighborhood people bring injured/stray animals to for caretaking, somehow, so I think I could manage a small team like this just fine.
>>31910575
I need those fruits
>Bayleef because its my favourite starter
>Machoke because I bodybuild and there's a few gyms near my house. Wouldn't be too hard to find a machop lurking around
>Forest behind my house so I could find Zubats there at night
>Squirrels in that forest as well, so Pachirisu could be found there
>Canal running through the city. It's quite dirty so Wooper would love it.
>Bulky intimidating dude because I'm bulky and intimidating, I'm not bald though
>Primarina because she's my fav starter, and I'd train her all the way to "real life" lv 34
>I live in Madrid, Spain, my street is always dirty because fuckers who walk their dogs won't clean their shit, thus me having a Muk
>There's a garden close to my flat where you can find tons of cats, not as many pidgeons, but there's not a magpie pokemon yet, so...
>Near where I live there's a huge park with a lake, I guess the seismitoad family could live there.
>Also, in that same park there's a monstrous, very aggressive black swann (for real, google "parque capricho cisne negro") that usually attacks people who get too close to the edge of the lake.
>>31904480
>I'm in France, so Kalos and Kanto starter.
>There is a lot of bats at night so i pick the best bat.
>I'm an aquarist and like rare and unusual fishes, welcome to Lanturn.
>And I am jew, so why not a golem?
>>31904796
>No Halucha
>>31905206
Probopass for Staline, Wishiwashi for social behavior, Golissopod for lake Baikal giant shrimps, Abomasnow for soviet russian cold, Celesteela for Baikonour. And a fire starter for the red color.
>>31905405
Probably crayfish, not crabs.
>moved around a fuckton
>area has a lot of grasslands
>also a lot of forests of different kinds of trees in any direction
>mountains in the region that I've been to several times, can see them if you go further south
>bigass river nearby, lots of ponds and lakes
>not too far to the ocean either, been there twice
>sometimes get floods of weird bugs normally not seen around here
>currently living pretty urban, lots of tech-related shit and construction
>got like 7 cemeteries around
This was my 4th gen team, though I had Latias instead of Gengar, whom I still used a lot anyway. It's weird realizing that you could have very well caught your standard team irl.
I live in Coastal England.
>Pachirisu because there are grey and red squirrels in my area
>Wingull because loads of seagulls
>Forretress since you can find lots of pinecones in the forests here
>Torracat because I have a ginger cat at home
>Golett because there are some neato ruins nearby
>Vileplume because they're quite common and there are some marshes in the forests here
Live in Greater London.
>Torterra
Coolest starter.
>Toxicroak
There are ponds nearby. Frogs all over the place.
>Garbador
It's a city. Trash is naturally all over the place. This pokémon is cool, though.
>Pidove
London demands an obligatory pigeon
>Porygon-Z
I mess around on my PC every goddamn day. I'm getting a porygon one way or another.
>Klefki
I am too lazy to venture out. I caught my keys.
This is the best I could do, with no type overlaps.
Germanbro here.
>gf an i feed Pigeons in our freetime because they are just fucking adorable when they eat. Sometimes crows get some of the food too. I live on the southern edge of the city/state and the border is a river near a forest. Also we have an old burnt down house in the neighborhood hat noone wants to remove, so ghost-types settled there.
>Charmelion
I enjoy fire, and lizards are pretty cool.
>Veneomoth
moths are here year round in Arkansas
>Crabby
I own a pet hermit crab
>Sudowoodo
I own a Bonsai tree
>Sableye
The only Diamond mine in the country is in my home state.
>Sunflora
There are quite a few farms and gardens in my area
>>31904480
but a neet would have loads of free time to train their pokemon
I live near the ocean, so seagulls, crabs and seals a plenty. I live close to a pretty rich neighborhood where everyone and their mother owns a dog, and there's lots of bugs, had a bee nest in my yard last summer.
Live in NW England
>Starter
>Ponds and streams everywhere with frogs/tadpoles
>Nature reserve near my house with a lot of deer
>I have a dog
>lots of birds, some of them look a lot like starly
>frogs again
Comfy pic desu
Live an hour or so north of chicago
>Deerling because lots of forests and state animal
>Poliwhirl from a poliwag in the pond nearby
>Fearow because screw pidgey
>Glameow, my cat
>Clefairy because I work at a toy store and I need a cute, popualr pokemon
Living in really uninteresting terrain. Inkay because Inkays are my bros, everything else is just what I like and that doesn't seem unreasonable to catch.
>Politoed and Toxicroak because there are a lot of frogs where I live
>Yanma because there's a ditch behind my house, and there are a lot of Dragonflies and the like there
>Masquerain because a lot of Water Striders live in the aforementioned ditch
>Wooper because ditch
>Feebas because I fish a lot, It's shiny for the same reason. That and Feebas was the first Shiny I acquired through Chain-fishing
>>31904480
OP I fucking love this thread and the idea behind it. Will post my card when I get home.
>>31904796
>No Hawlucha or Ludicolo
>>31904936
>Backpacker because I'm a college student
>Porygon2 because computer engineering major
>Chose the rest because from Kansas
Small world man.
Live in a suburban area outside of a city
>Meowth
Pet cat
>Magnemite
Could find one near the power plant
>Yanma
There are dragonflies in the fields near my place
>Misdreavus
I've had my share of spoopy shit plus cute ghost
>>31904480
I'd probably be more of a collector and focus on capturing Pokémon from around the world.
Assuming all seven generations were always around...
>I probably would have found a fossil on a beach once and, knowing my luck, would be for my least favorite fossilmon.
>Toucannon from Central America
>Smeargle from Italy
>Dunsparce from Japan
>Snivy would be my starter
>Chandelure would be one of the first uncommon Pokémon I caught when I was a child, since it's my favorite and I lived in a city when I was younger.
Generic UK town
>Quilava
Favourite starter, but Typhlosion would be too much
>Hoothoot
Favourite bird, could probably go to the more rural spots to find one
>Skitty
Best catmon to go with my own cat
>Pidove
It was either that or Wingull but I get more pigeons
>Joltik
Tons of spiders get into the house, and I have a lot of techy stuff
>Vulpix
We can have foxes in our gardens
Could drop Joltik and Vulpix due to them being harder to find. But even working full time they're all small enough to manage
>>31904480
>Espurr
Pet cat that stares creepily
>Litwick
Bf has way too many candlesand I'm constantly drained
>Mimikyu
I live near a graveyard and I sew, lots of spare cloth around
>Joltik
My house is full of spiders
>Deerling
Can't go a week without nearly hitting a deer
>Tympol
I pass a little stream on the way to work most days
>Smeargle is my actual dog, plus im in cosmetology school so he'd help out
>shit ton of crows around
>bridge near my house has a big bat colony that i go and see every night
>weezing because i currently work at a store that sells perfumes and bath products
>pumpkaboo because i'm constantly buying dumb halloween stuff from thrift stores. could also be a banette
>sneasel because i used to live in a snowy area
>Lillipup
I once had a Yorkshire Terrier as the family pet
>Sawsbuck
There's quite a few deer near where I live
>Noctowl
There's quite a few owls here too
>Basculin
There's a lake with bass super close to my house
>Kricketune
I play and write music
>Unown
I'm studying to be an English major
>All these people with full teams
In real life, breeding more than 3 Pokemon would be really difficult for non-professional breeders.
I would have just 2 Pokemon.
Mareep
>My parents used to breed sheep
>I am an Electrical Engineer
>Sheep are cute
Joltik
>It can help me on search little components I drop out from my workbench
>It can live on Mareep
>It's low maintenance, I have to feed just 2 lithium batteries a week
>>31918117
You don't have to feed your Joltik at all, it feeds on static electricity, which Mareep happens to have a lot of.
>Staraptor
A shit ton of large raptors in my area, I even live less than 20 minutes from a raptor sanctuary.
>Torterra
Starter, I live in a highly wooded area. Plus comfy and bro tier
>Mienshao
I did martial arts all throughout childhood, and weasels are some of my favorite animals.
>Volcarona
Lots of moths in the area, I love moths, plus it's the south, so it's hot the majority of the year.
>Lanturn
Bit of a stretch but I've been deep sea fishing several times.
>Elgyem
Total bro tier, plus I'm a sucker for /x/ related stuff.
>Arcanine
My brother was given to me at the age of 9. He was a golden retriever and grew up with me. Died recently. He was as majestic and loyal as Arcanine. Helped me through my depression, as well.
>Oricorio (Sensu)
the colour reminded me of my first pet, a blue parakeet, who used to fly freely in my room while I was doing homework. Used to sat on my shoulder and watched me. Oh the good times..
>Squirtle
I used to have a pet turtle.
>Gengar/Trevenant
As a kid I was spending almost all my free time playing in the forest. As a kid I thought that the trees had ghosts in it. Both, because I had no idea what else to pick except for
>Sawsbuck
because I saw a lot of deers in said forest and they became my favourite animals ever since.
>>31904480
Living the dream
>occupation
T-that's funny OP, h-hahaha! ...good o-one!
>>31904480
>Ratticate
Live in a poor area

People forget it exists
>linenoon
Another basic rat thing
>Lunatune

Can anybody make a druggie or a drug dealer trainer
>>31920513
Geodude
Weedle
Unown L
Unown M
Unown A
Unown O
>Grotle
There were quite a few different kinds of turtles living around my house when I was younger, so a Turtwig would be a reasonable option for a starter. Probably be holding off on fully evolving though, Torterra are big.
>Poliwhirl
Directly across the road from my house, there's a reservoir on a hill. At the end of the road, there's a river. In the woods behind me, there's a little creek. Unsurprisingly, we have a lot of frogs.
>Magnemite
That reservoir I mentioned? Feeds into a small electric plant by the river right around the corner. There would probably be a few of these floating around.
>Duskull
Just down the road and visible from my house is a pet cemetery. We're the closest house to it, so ghosts looking for someone to haunt might end up visiting.
>Braviary
It's not that common, but we do have bald eagles living around my house. Having something that can fly me around is cool and amazingly useful, so I'd go out of my way to catch one of these.
>Ursaring
I've always known there were bears around, but just last year I woke up to one outside my window pulling down a bird feeder.
Caught in that order, most likely. Food and care might start to get a bit expensive towards the end, but I don't think it'd be too unreasonable. I'd save on gas money with Braviary around, at least.
>>31920513
>>31920602
Let me get that for you.
>>31921142
>no shroomish
>>31904480

I wish there was a less Edgy looking sprite I could have used, but that is the most accurate
>Feraligatr
Favorite starter
>Rapidash
I live in Kentucky, so horses
>Muk
I live pretty close to the Ohio River, and it's so gross that I feel like Muk would live there
>Smeargle

>Garbodor
Could easily find in Cincinnati
>Sawsbuck
I can't drive home without almost hitting a deer
>>31920513
I gotchu senpai
>>31921602
Thanks Brodie looks good
Chicagofag here.Is there a sixth pokemon based on dead people? Couldn't think of an actual sixth and just dhelmise since I like it.
I'm kind of lazy and not very fit but my general attitude is that I'm always looking for an excuse to not sit on my arse all day, and I take those opportunities when I can, and training my pokemon would definitely take up all my time.
>Rowlet, designated starter
>Goodra, I would spent all day with this goober and there are several marshy areas and reserves near me
>Audino, IDK what sort of location you'd find one but I imagine it'd be anywhere that lots of pokemon show up and I live in an urban area
>Flaafy, I don't live much near farms but livestock still is available in or just out of my city
>Chikorita, I can't figure out where they would be found anyway but plenty of large public gardens and whatnot in my area
>Brionne, I live on the coast and Australia is pretty south so I'd say it's fairly possible, I know it's dumb and a stretch that I chose 3 starters though.
I live near a huge Forest park.
>Frogadier
Park has a lot of frogs. Also my favorite starter, so why not.
>Rockruff
I have a dog and it's still a puppy. So why not.
>Primeape
There are a lot of Monkeys in the area too. See them daily.
>Vigoroth
There are a few sloths in too.
>Diglett
Digletts are said to live around forests sometimes. So why not.
>>31923931
Oh, forgot Ariados.
There are a lot of cool spider around too.
Based on pets I've had, this would be my team. Too bad there isn't much type diversity.
>>31904480
I actually live in France, very close to where Couriway Town is supposed to be, so I based my team on Pokemon you can find in that aera in X and Y (Route 18 and Route 19 in Kalos).
Also, I guess my team would be somewhere between lvl 25 and lvl 30.
>Owls
>Crows
>Snow
>Pigeons
>Foxes
>Bears
