I had literally no problem with it. It is so slow that you will outspeed it after a shell smash.
Draco meteor is resisted by steel (more than one Pokemon) and ignored by fairies (yet again more than one Pokemon).

Stop crying, you baby. I bet you are one of those people who wanted to play dark souls, but didn't because the game didn't have an easy mode. If you want your hand to be held all through the game, try pokémon sumo.
Or you COULD use your head and find a way to beat it, such as attrition damage, using any super effective moves, lowering its stats with some freshly caught shitmons that still outspeed it or just grind it out if you think that using your head will hurt.

Mozzamazel is my best answer to it cause, coincidentally, it's the only non-WT mon in the game that isn't hit at least normal effective by any move it has (Dreameme also isn't, but still, WT only). Even then, it's so bulky that it can only take an alright amount of damage from the strongest move Mozzamazel has if it has it's defenses dropped by Toke, but even then it has a White Herb so it can only take okay damage if it is already also at +4 SpA and Speed.

I've definitely over-exaggerated the power but it's still extremely strong.

You could always try Nauseon and/or it's evos. Fairy would be neutral to them, and you'd have a Poison/Fighting or Poison/Dark to try and drop Fairies.

(I hate Fairy types personally. I hate that Dark type is weak to Fairy, and it makes me dislike Sableye and Spiritomb. They lost their gimmick because of it.)
