I'd question why he's tied up since he clearly has the strength and means to cut through the binds.

Daily reminder to feed your Garde. If you don't it dies and you only have yourself to blame.
>>31906908
Mine's on a low fat Pokepuff diet and does a daily Hyper Training regime. She thinks the Poke Puffs help boost her IVs.
Fucking LOL.

Quality stuff my friend, thanks again.
Now I avoid the threads until I am in need of Gardevoir pics again. Bye bye
Can someone explain to me how Gardevoir is related to the Ralts line? I thought she would evolve from Gallade but she's a basic monster.
>>31900079
Gallade is a badass, tho in the card game at least. Huge damage potential.
>>31912012
Ralts -> Kirlia -> Gardevoir/Gallade
Gardevoir is the normal progression of the line, but a male Kirlia can evolve into Gallade with the use of a dawn stone.
During the sixth generation, mega evolution was introduced, and both Gardevoir and Gallade recieved mega evolutions.
In the TCG, Gardevoir and Gallade recieved basic form cards to be used in Mega decks because the people who made the card game did not think that players would want to go through four forms over the course of each game.

for you
How intelligent are Ralts, Kirlias, Gardevoirs and Gallades? Are they like human beings?
>>31918861
I would assume the average IQ for them would fall a little lower than the human average by around 10-15 points.
But I guess that is still up for interpretation.
>>31919289
My personal theory is that Gardevoirs and Gallades live in primitive tool-making societies in the wild but they're only gatherers and scavengers because they dislike hunting due to psychic feedback as the hunted Pokémon dies. Similarly they don't build advanced tools because they can use their natural moves to get stuff done, and they live in small, familial tribes because they need close, strong relationships. They don't really progress so that's why humans are the dominant specie.
>>31919555
>checked
I can accept that idea.
If anything I already had similar ideas.
Just that the ones who are "domesticated" are typical more intelligent due to the training and exposure to more advanced civilizations.
Also I do remember reading something that was saying that one of the reasons why us Humans were able to advance to the point was us figuring out how to cook meat, giving more calories for us to use. Perhaps that may have something to do with the frail body type Gardevoirs have.
>>31918861
I always figured that for the pokemon that are said to be extremely intelligent, the Gardevoirs, Alakazams, Slowkings, species like that, they were smart in a different way than humans. It's a bit of... blue and orange morality, maybe? Or it works like Douglas Adams described dolphins in the Hitchhikers books.
>For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.
So they're smart enough to understand us, and why we do the things we do, but their society and instincts run on completely different mental and emotional tracks.
Needs more (male) in here

I think "wild" Gardevoirs/Gallades have a sort of tribal Matriarch/Patriarch that is the uncontested leader of the tribe. "Domesticated" members of the line subcounsciously see their trainer as their tribal chief. Alternatively they see their trainer as a Ralts or Kirlia: piss-weak babies who need protection.
>>31921523
So according to you, how would one achieve the status of Matriarch/Patriarch of the tribe?Just trying to keep the thread moving
>>31921523
>Alternatively they see their trainer as a Ralts or Kirlia: piss-weak babies who need protection
That sounds adorable.
>>31922007
In patriarchal tribes I assume the lead Gallade gets challenged in a physical, non-lethal duel by a younger Gallade. In matriarchal tribes it's roughly the same, but with Gardevoirs and a duel of psychic powers. This could make for an interesting fanfic, where a guy goes to live with Gardevoirs in the woods to study them
>>31924056
And then they fuck, yeah I've read that one before
>>31924096
Read that one too.
Honestly thought it was kinda shit as it felt too soapbox'y, along with it giving a rather strong SJW vibeThat's about as political as I'll take it
>>31924096
Not really, I don't want to write a lewdfic, just a world building fic.
In my headcanon Gardevoirs have no uterus or birth canal, and Gallades have no testicles or penises. They reproduce by magic using their horn things and produce an egg by converting mafic into matter.
>>31925060
I was gonna call you out because that makes no sense, but then I remembered we're talking about Pokemon.
