Why doesn't the anime rotom dex translate what other pokemon

Because it's only there to be a Pokedex

How the fuck would any of us know? Go ask them in their general, that's what it's for, to answer questions like that.

But let's be honest, Rotom Dex is a massive missed opportunity like that. Translating NPC Pokemon could've been a major selling point, and they could use it to access little mini-quests. Maybe a trainer's having trouble with their Pokemon, and you can swoop in, figure it out, and save the day by... I dunno. Collecting the right kind of berry? Helping to demonstrate certain moves so the other mon can figure it out? Play matchmaker and come back in a few days time for a bonus egg?
