Ultra beasts are not any more lazy than the shitton of extra-legendaries we got since gen 3. They're just not called legendaries anymore, just how Gym leaders were kahunas, etc.

The uncatchable boss thing was a theory based on Nihilego being uncatchable.

Ugly is subjective, I personally like some of them, but I certainly agree on the healthy meta shit. Pheromosa is horribly minmaxed, and Beast Boost is just Moxie but better.
