They still are. You just need to put in more thought before pressing Outrage. Get rid of all the fairy types on your opponent's team. Plus, dragon type Pokemon are still versatile as fuck.

Yes, hitting everything except Steel for neutral damage.

That's what made Dragons such a threat; nothing resisted them but Steel, and even then, pretty much every Dragon learned a Fire-type move, so they could easily get around it.
