Even when its stats aren't the best its movepool is good but having Low Sweep as the only Fighting-type coverage is very BAD. Also Long Reach might not be the best ability but being able to avoid Rocky Helmet, Iron Barbs and Rough Skin with physical moves is a godsend.

Considering they make the pokemon in 3D first nowadays, I'm wondering if the initial and horrendous official art was directly based off of the model, since that one hologram GX card gave it normal-sized limbs and perhaps GF is slowly correcting course for 2D.

Not holding my breath on that theory though, even if I like to believe it considering a lot of pokemon look wonky in 3D compared to 2D.
