Indifferent to its design but Storm Drain is such a nice ability, and being a water type it has access to the nice Scald/Ice Beam combo. It also has access to both Counter and Mirror Coat for some reason but that's probably not as important unless you're doing some hardcore doubles gimmicks with Spotlight or some other retarded shit.

I always remember that at least three fapfics involving it have been posted here.

It's literally my favorite pokemon. I used this guy so much in Gen4. I always faced off against fuckin suicunes and vaporeons and he always pulled through. Though once they buffed Storm drain my brother was blessed to ascend to greatness. I fucking love you, gastrodon. Those suicunes and vaporeons are no match for you anymore

One of my all time favorite pokemon. As an avid lover of slugs this guy and pyukumuku are great. I will never not be pissed about sliggoo. My hope is that in the DP remakes it gets more variations.

I've personally never used a Gastrodon(though I probably will in another Heartgold playthrough) but I think it looks cool, and probably the best looking of all the major slug Pokemon out there. I have to agree with those that say Goodra ruined what could've been a really cool slug dragon by basically becoming a slimy wingless Dragonite.

I don't know if it's a slug or belongs in the same family, but I eagerly await the day when we get a Glaucus Atlanticus Pokemon

I completely agree. Sometimes, "it just gets bigger" conveys that it is still roughly the same pokémon, only stronger. Gastrodon's line does this quite well. There are obviously some examples which take this too far, though, like Poliwhirl and Poliwrath, which are just the same thing with slightly thicker limbs and a different facial expression.
