I would've liked them better if they had been non-catchable bosses with ridiculous stats that require your whole party to take down. Similarly, Lusamine/Nihilego should've been a boss battle rather than a typical trainer battle, albeit with multiple totem pokemon

They're pretty good, I love Buzzwole. I understand why others don't like them, they're intentionally designed very differently from classic Pokemon.

I definitely think that Lusamine/Nihilego should have been a boss.

I think there's a reasonable compromise for the rest. There's the lore about the portals giving them a power boost, they could have taken that farther and make them super powerful bosses when first encountered, then let you encounter them afterwards in their powered down state.

I don't like them either. The "no faces" thing bugs me, the designs are as complicated and nonsensical as they come, especially for Pokemon.

I wouldn't mind them if they were grouped off as being specifically "Ultra Beasts" or "Alt. Dimension Pkmn." But they're just lumped together with regular Pokemon. And they very clearly aren't

When Necrozma was revealed on the site its url was 3rdlegendary or something like that. Prism Armor, it has a similar level up move pattern (Necrozma has more 1s, doesn't learn its signature move at 1, and is moving a level 61 move are the major differences), part Psychic typing, shared theme with Solgaleo and Lunala, and its cry has the same chime.

UBs are pretty cool desu. Yes, they're not Boss only enemies like the eaters were in Cyber Sleuth, and that makes me slightly sad, but they are all still pretty cool, even that shitbird Guzzlord.
