Have a NPC in Petwer City trade a Stantler for your Smoochum/Elekid/Magby, but the Stantler is named GODBLESS and has Confuse Ray, Minimise, Stomp, and Astonish as well as Serene Grace for its ability.

Spidna is the only pokemon you can find in Digglet Cave. Spidna has Trickster as it's ability. It is impossible to remove confusion under any circumstances. If your pokemon gets confused, it is confused for the rest of the game.

Route 3 is Hoenn themed. The grass only has early route Hoenn stuff (wingull, poochyena, surskit, ralts, etc.) and trainers only use Hoenn pokemon. Mankey can be evolved to Harambape by leveling while holding an Infant. Replace all Big Nuggets with Infants. Either replace Primape with Harambape, or replace Vigoroth and make slakoth evolve directly to slaking. Harambape is Fighting/Ghost type.
