It's the shading and colouring.
The line art is fine, but the way he shades and colours, he's trying to make what are drawn to be flat cartoons into too contoured and realistic figures. Like, Graveler and Geodue look like mudblobs instead of boulders because he's colouring them like they're made of mud and have no sharp contouring to make them look like rocks.

Maybe it's the opposite? She wants to break the illusion and disappear. She tried to get Prim to leave with the human so there'd be no reason to keep up the illusion, but right afterwards Prim pretty much told Gothitelle that she's fine keeping up the illusion, and tried to get the guy to leave before getting distracted fucking him again. So she then set up the situation with Gallade so that they'd almost have to break everything to get him to calm down. So now she's just chilling in the hut waiting to die, because so long as she blocks them from wiping Gallade's memory of this one event, they would have to get rid of the mind-fuckery in its entirety.
