It's frail plus too slow for normal battle and too fast for trick room.

Oh hey. It's been two years, right?
Wheres the guy who made that dating a magma grunt thing

What is cacturne?

How is this B+ rank UU with the power creep again?

>defensive typing

SD + Decidium Z hits like a truck, and with Sticky Web support it's slow speed it's a non-issue.
>>31825184
First
>Frail
Decidueye frail, not even, is 100 spacial defense not anought. And 75 is decent. Now for speed you got me.
>>31826416
>needs support and set-up AND a one time z-move
Wtf? What about that utility set people used it with?
>>31826716
75 isn't much considering the power creep, plus its HP doesn't help at all either sitting at a lowly 78. Decidueye doesn't even have anything to help boost its defense. At least another bird like Braviary has bulk up to help its defense considering how it sits at the exact same base defense as Decidueye at 75.
Face the facts: Decidueye is frail. 100 special defense might be good, but that's not worth anything considering its terrible HP stat.
>>31826416
Have fun setting all that up with 78/75 physical defenses buddy.
>>31825179
Seviper almost fits the bill.
>>31825998
it does get exclusive access to a very good signature move though.

This is goober man thread now.

he made some good porn then kinda vanished afaik

It's not so much a hindering ability as one that requires you to strategize though.
When used effectively, Emergency Exit lets you attack with Sucker Punch or First Impression, then hold momentum with an instant switchout after the attack.
Its only when you fuck up that it punishes you by robbing you of a move before switching you out.
It's really quite a fair and skill-intensive ability, overall: if you plan effectively, it rewards you with a boost to tempo/damage, as well as probably 1 threat removed, thanks to it's solid coverage and power.
If you don't use it properly, or don't predict well, then it punishes you with loss of tempo/damage.
>>31825998
Make Emergency Exit activate at the end of the turn and he is saved
>>31825998
He's got priority moves out the ass that turn into free U-turns when his HP is halved. Wish passing with him can be pretty devastating.

>I keep getting wrecked by Golisopod on Battle Spot
>"L-LOL STAY S-SALTY GOLISKEKS!" ;_;
>>31828819
desu, I agree Golisopod has major problems and will not be competitive without major changes.
Having Water/Bug as a typing is fairly bad for an offensive mon, and the low speed is crippling, even if Golisopod is surprisingly bulky and hard-hitting with his multiple priority moves to help make up for that. Worse, it debuted the same gen as Araquanid, which in many ways it what Golisopod should have been.
But still, despite it's numerous flaws, it is unfair to say that it's ability is shit, because it isn't. It's a very well designed ability that just happens to often have problems working with Golisopod's typing and stats.
>fantastic offensive ability on a defensive pokemon
