Try not to minmax stats unless the mon is a lost cause otherwise.
Pokemon: Mega Tropius
Type: Grass/Dragon
Ability: Grassy Surge
Movepool Additions: Dragon Pulse, Earth Power
HP: 99
Attack: 68 > 50 (-18)
Defense: 83 > 120 (+37)
Sp.Atk: 72 > 131 (+59)
Sp.Def: 87 > 120 (+33)
Speed: 51 > 40 (-11)
Total: 460 > 560
Now Tropius is a very tanky nuke with recovery, but still gets raped by ice types, has to switch in with an awful defensive typing and SR weakness, and is painfully slow.
What tier is he now?
not even UU. effective specs grass STAB is still a grass attacking move and dragon isn't as good as it used to be. I can see bulky seed sets but eh.

Saw a really good idea on another thread for a good ability for mega tropius:
Tropical Breeze: auto-tailwind
Could be cool. I think it'd still end up as a pelipper, where it still fucking sucks on its own but people use it for its auto field condition setting ability. I'd be happy with that.
Pokemon: Mega Golurk
Type: Ghost/Steel (becomes a mecha)
Ability: Iron Fist
Movepool Additions: Bullet Punch, Mach Punch, Drain Punch
HP: 89
Attack: 124 > 160 (+36)
Defense: 80 > 124 (+34)
Sp.Atk: 55
Sp.Def: 80 > 120 (+30)
Speed: 55
Total: 483 >583
>>31823478
Give it elemental punches and buff Shadow Punch too
>>31823328
Really? STAB Leaf Storm on Grassy Terrain is effectively a base 260 power attack coming off 131 SpAtk... it's more powerful than Bulu's Wood Hammer and it's Special, even though it does require a switch on the next turn. And it has the passive Terrain recovery alongside Synthesis/Giga Drain
>>31823537
It already has the punches via tutor doesnt it?
>>31823543
It'd probably run roost.
Pokemon: Ariados
Type: Poison/Bug
Ability: Corrosion
HP: 70
Attack: 90 > 100 (+10)
Defense: 70 > 120 (+50)
Sp.Atk: 60 > 50 (-10)
Sp.Def: 70 > 130 (+60)
Speed: 40 > 30 (-10)
Total: 400 > 500
It has a lot of decent support moves but still severely lacking damage department so might as well make it tanky.
I feel like giving it a new ability which only affects web attacks but there's no goo ways to make them all better without turning the attacks into trapping moves
>>31823558
yes it does
>>31823647
I meant make it learn them naturally.
Pokemon: Mega Typhlosion
Type: Fire/Ground
Ability: Intimidate, or if i'm being generous, a signature ability that halves Water type damage (Evaporation?)
Aesthetic: Bigger and bulkier. Its mane is now more like an actual volcano, constantly spewing smoke, and it erupts when Typhlosion attacks.
Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Dragon/Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball
HP: 78
Attack: 84
Defense: 78 > 100 (+22)
Sp.Atk: 109 > 150 (+41)
Sp.Def: 85 > 100 (+15)
Speed: 100 > 122 (+22)
Total: 534 > 634
Pokemon: Mega Infernape
Type: Fire/Fighting
Ability: Anger Point
HP: 108
Attack: 139
Defense: 103
Sp.Atk: 139
Sp.Def: 73
Speed: 79
Pokemon: Mega Bastiodon
Type: Steel (if Aggron can do it...)
Ability: Stamina
HP: 60
Attack: 52 > 110 (+58)
Defense: 168 > 188 (+20)
Sp.Atk: 47
Sp.Def: 138 > 160 (+22)
Speed: 30
Now insanely tanky, with some actual offensive presence, and able to boost with Curse.
Effectively a Mega Aggron alternative that can actually take a Special hit.
Mega Delphox,
Ability: Blaze, Magician > Magic Guard
Stat changes:
Hp: 75=75
Attack: 69>59 (-10)
Defense: 72>82 (+10)
Special Attack: 114>164 (+50)
Special Defense: 100>120 (+20)
Speed: 104>134 (+30)
*Now gets access to thunderbolt, ice beam, energy ball, and dark pulse
>>31823889
Give the other Sinnoh fossil a Mega while we're at it.
Mega Rampardos
HP: 97 > 147 (+50)
Attack: 165 > 210 (+45)
Defense: 60
Sp Atk: 65 > 10 (-55, if Beedrill does it Rampardos can too)
Sp Def: 50
Speed 58 > 118 (+60)
Can nuke everything with Head Smash/Stone Edge, with Iron Head and Zen Headbutt for coverage. I'm hard at the thought.
>>31823940
What's the ability?
>>31823940
>>31823803
you idiots, you can't add HP
and don't give me the Zygarde excuse
>>31823955
Nah.
Mega Rampardos
Ability: No Guard OR Rock Head

Defense: 60
Sp Atk: 65 > 60 (-5)
Sp Def: 50
Speed 58 > 118 (+60)
>>31824012
Oops this was meant for >>31823940
Mega Electivire
