No. Losing your fire typing is shit. Plus, you can only use the move once until you switch out, and rox are a bitch. Just use specs/scarf with eruption. Fighting and grass z moves are ok. Haven't tried z sunny day for +1 speed, but I'm more of a feraligatr guy, so I never felt the need to test it. Play around with whatever except rock slide and blast burn

You do Eruption + Choice Scarf and nothing more. Any other moves are trivial, and you better not pack another fire-type with him.
