Headcanon that it's incurable and that she'll die if you want, but she doesn't die during the game's events.

There are only two Zygarde cores in the world, just like in the anime. Calem has the one from Terminus Cave, while Sun finds the other in Alola. It can only get to 100% if they meet each other.
